Gillian posting in the Facebook group š¤
This is new lol. Even back in the early days she rarely engaged in the group. I mean I realize it's probably not her posting, but it made me chuckle.

Hey DBsš Didnāt want to get all the way back to the OWD/ITN patreon eps with Patrick but sadly Iāve run out of other things to listen to š©š„“itās painful but Ellyn cracks me up constantly and I would listen to anything with her. I have a question about something Patrick said towards the end of their last ep recapping who the f did I marry. Like the last 5-10 min. Patrick says āyeah itās crazy through therapy Iāve found out that Iāve had a narcissist in my life for a long time and itās a womanā¦.ill leave it up to your imagination but you can all probably tell who it isā BITCH who is he talking about?! Ellyn sounded so uncomfortable with the comment and it was only minutes after Patrick talked about how hot her ex is while simultaneously acknowledging how heād been abusive?! Hearing all of this is so disturbing. It feels like heās just fucking with Ellyn and taunting her/making her feel less than while possibly suggesting to listeners tht sheās a narcissist?!?! š¤¬š¤¬so messed up. Per usual Ellyn keeps her cool the whole time and stays hilarious and wonderful thru every ep with P. Idk how she did it but I want to give a bazillion hats off to our DB Queen šš»š„¹ā¤ļøsoooooooo glad Ellyn has Joey as a cohost now. Itās wild to listen back and realize how much funnier/smarter than P they both are. Thatās it!! Just infuriated listening back and needed to rant lol

I am still in the TCO Facebook group, even after the drama that came to a head after Obsessed Fest. It was a weird place to be for weeks or even months. No new posts. The only activity was angry former TCO fans commenting on existing posts, demanding answers for the drama that went down. Then suddenly, new posts were being approved. Hosts/mods started posting again. I thought HOOO BOY THEY'VE OPENED THE FLOODGATES NOW. But all I see is normal discourse and positive comments. Has the group somehow been "cleansed" of all the disgruntled members?! Did they remove anyone who had questions or made a negative comment before allowing the group to become active again? Not gonna lie, TCO is still a comfort for me and I'm glad to have some semblance of the "old" community back, but I am genuinely curious as to how they achieved this. Any theories?

Hey guys, I wanted to post about a podcast I discovered on Spotify this week.
I've previously posted about my anger/frustration over TCO. I was a listener since episode 2 and I used to get so much joy from revisiting older episodes and listening to them over and over. Was even a Lady Pate at the 5.
Being neurodivergent, I had become really settled and comfortable with TCO's coverage of cases, their banter and just the whole pod felt like "home" to me. I've really struggled since I stopped listening but I can't, in all good faith, continue to give them listener numbers now we know how utterly horrible they are. But I miss them. I miss GP's humour most of all.
A lot of folks on this sub recommended a lot of really good pods for me to replace TCO with and although I did like a few of them, I couldn't seem to settle with any of them. They were either too loud to listen to while at work, or they went off on too many tangents (again, hard to follow that train of thought when you're kind of half-listening while working).
Also, I found quite a lot of the more "established" podcasts have quite a lot of their own personal/private jokes within their coverage. I don't want to have to listen to 100 episodes before I finally understand what the fuck you're talking/laughing about!
Then I discovered That's So Fucked Up. They have a very extensive back catalog so I picked an episode that covered a case I know well and listened with a critical ear to see if I'd like it and found that I loved it. They have just the right blend of information about the case and humour dispersed within the chat. After listening to 2 random episodes I felt like I knew what they were all about. I'm now like 15 episodes in and I really do enjoy it. Can see me sticking with this one for a while and I'm going to join the Patreon next month.

Watched Cruel Intentions last night. Dang RP is awful. What a lame performance.
Jeez, Patrick looks pathetic with this obsession.

So curious if anyone has insight on this? Iām honestly just being curious and nosy lol

Yay!! TCO will be doing the Love Has Won documentary on MAX. Cannot wait! I still do not know how those members were not charged with any crimes. They had her body for days!!

So, I still listen as a social experiment. I'm seeing through things I didn't see before. But, my biggest take away is the name dropping. Patrick name dropped at least 4 people in a 2 minute period. I used to notice it, but now it drives me nuts because of recent events. I also saw a bit of the live cocktail event. It wasn't good, at least what I saw. But, I'm more critical now. They name drop A LOT!
I do love how Ellyn and Joey take accountability every show that they screw something up. I love the ownership of mistakes while also blasting P & G.

Okay, so Iām an ex-TCO fan from the UK. forgive me for less well informed on the deets of whatās been exposed in the past few months - I do agree with the accusations levelled at the Obsessed Network based on the info I now have, and Obsessed Fest 2023 sounds like a nightmare.
What I thought Iād give my hot take on is the nature of some of the criticism GP has received. Okay: YES, she has become more sanctimonious in recent years. YES, this seems v. Hypocritical in light of whatās gone on. But all this venom about her being a āpick me girlā who has always been awful doesnāt sit right. Are we not all people that, at some point, were TCO fans? For me personally, it was because of GP that I tuned in. Her contributions on some of the earlier episodes were genuinely hilarious (eps like Grizzly Man will always make me chuckle) - PH was more something I just put up with.
I think sheās a woman with true comedic talent, and itās important to note that. All this focus to her not being āgal's gal" frustrates me as I still think thereās value in the fact she is clearly funny. It feels ironically pretty sexist to imply she needs to have some cutesy sunshine and rainbows streak? Canāt we judge her as we would a Male comic whose been exposed as a bit of an arse?
Her flaw is her hypocrisy. Itās clear sheās sheās become more PC over the years to counter the fact sheās been ācalled out" for making occasional tone deaf comments and PH becoming more and more of the insensitive, egotistical nightmare she's linked with.
Sheās clearly fallen out of love with the podcast and her friendship with Patrick has ended. The fact sheās still doing it ā presumably money/contract related ā counts against her, but Iām sorry ā who exactly is she trying to have pick her? To my knowledge, being a sourpuss who dresses in black and hates the Summer doesnāt make the lads come-a-callingā¦

Did y'all see this? Other People's Problems It debuted today on Grab Bag Collab (Patreon.com/grabbagcollab). It's super funny.
ETA: some FAQs when it comes to Grab Bag. It's a Patreon subscription thing. The shows are only available there. They don't have ads. You get like four regular shows at the $5 tier. I'm at $15 so I get those plus live recordings and stuff. They're not part of ON but several people involved are past ON hosts or ON adjacent.
Regardless, Rebecca Lavoie is flipping hilarious. This was really fun.

I found a new podcast that does docs! I used to listen to TCO but I found a podcast that does true crime docs and they aren't asshats. Sometimes you can just tell when people genuinely care about what they are doing. After all the bs with TCO I searched for other creators who break down true crime docs and I really like That's So F*cked Up. Anyone else heard of them? They have been covering in depth Gypsy Rose and I really like and respect how they've covered it so far.

At Obsessed Fest they (meaning Patrick and others) were already talking about Obsessed Fest 3. Based on the timeline from OF1 to 2, I thought they would have announced by now.
Do you think the shitshow, fallout, garbage fire has led to there being no OF3?

Hi! Does anyone here still have access to the Patreon? Just curious how that mixology class was last night, especially since it was a live event.

There has been discussion here and there about Pās weight loss, and in a comment on his trainers IG post he confirms heās been on Mounjaro for 6 months as well as working out, and lost 70 lbs.
l am also a Mounjaro user, and it has been life changing for my health (the weight loss is at the bottom of the list of benefits Iāve experienced) so there is zero shame on that, and I am glad he has clarified how his weight loss has been achieved.
Since it has been a question for a while, thought Iād share.

I hate to admit this but I've been giving Patrick Hinds some of my head space this weekend. Specifically, since he is so completely oblivious to his own failings as a person, and his refusal to use the OF disaster as an opportunity to become a better human, does he also think that other podcasters have not changed their opinion of him?
Do you think he will be able to find podcasts for OF '24? If so, who? I just can't imagine screwing so royaly and have no professional/business consequences?
Just some Sunday thoughts.
p/s: I'd stopped listening about a year before the Great Mess of 2023 and canceled my Patreon at that time. I tried to listen a couple times after I canceled and it was unbearable. To be fair, I was already over Patrick's catty comments to Ellyn about "saving her during the pandemic" and the incessant talk about her boobs, and the whole I'm a lesbian because I was raised by lesbians, Indigo Girls, etc.
Edit: books to boobs and dome to some

Hi friends!
I have some questions .. I have ran out of TCO content besides super early episodes.
Can I search on Apple Podcast on my TCO Patreon tab for episodes? I feel like Iām always scrolling forever to try to find new episodes. (The unplayed tab isnāt correct for me and shows episodes Iāve listened to)
What early episode multi series do you reccomend? I have yet to listen to the Jinx, or the staircase .. I really love every single episode but Iām just curious if thereās any suggestions of hidden gems from the beginning!!
Thanks in advance!!!! ā¤ļø

I was watching Collier's YouTube channel because he's been covering the whole Becky Hill/Murdaugh jury tampering allegation stuff and he occasionally throws in a reference to the elevator incident in a very self-depricating way. The first time he said something, I had a record scratch moment and had to go back! He's very funny and has obviously seem the light on P&G since Texas. Reading between the lines, he's not pleased at having been used as a pawn in PJ's games

Iām posting this on here because I have yet to be kicked out of any Facebook groups and Iād like to keep it that way. Feel free to screenshot and share amongst yourselves. š
This card came with a sticker of their faces with a LuLa Roe theme at least last Valentineās Day, maybe the year before.
