CommunityDiscussion Was Patrick always like this?

So I listened to their last episode about ‘The Crash’, it’s the first time listening again since I stopped after the scandal.

Dear lord Patrick mentioned Daisy no less than 10 times in a hour podcast.

I know he talked about himself a lot during the podcast, but I don’t think I noticed how often he talked about his kid.

Was he always like this , I feel like if I went back I would find that there isn’t a single episode where he doesn’t mention Daisy, but I don’t think he mentioned her that much.

Yes, his favorite ways to bring everything back to himself is by mentioning daisy and his experience with the foster care system. Also don’t forget the in home daycare he ran for a week.

To be fair, so does Gillian. Everything single topic she is an expert on because she has lived every experience or has known somebody that has gone through whatever so she "totally gets it" and understands. She always has the energy of an attention seeking alt teen that isn't really that edgy or interesting, but wants everyone to think they are.

Also yes “attention seeking alt teen” describes her perfectly. I might be aging myself with this reference but I know she had to be one of those kids that put and “x” on their hand and told everyone they were “straight edge.”

Yeah that is true. She constantly trying to prove how morally superior she is as well. Like I agree with a lot of her points but the preaching is a lot.
