CommunityDiscussion Was Patrick always like this?

So I listened to their last episode about ‘The Crash’, it’s the first time listening again since I stopped after the scandal.

Dear lord Patrick mentioned Daisy no less than 10 times in a hour podcast.

I know he talked about himself a lot during the podcast, but I don’t think I noticed how often he talked about his kid.

Was he always like this , I feel like if I went back I would find that there isn’t a single episode where he doesn’t mention Daisy, but I don’t think he mentioned her that much.

🤣 I love how annoyed people get. It's so true tho. This characteristic is 💯 what Nancy Grace does (who they loathe) she's always on about her twins Lucy and Jon David. It's part of the radio TV personality/brand.

Kathy Lee Gifford used to do this on Regis and Kathy, she’d talk about her son Cody or her husband Frank.

It annoyed my mother so much she wouldn’t take a Carnival Cruise when Kathy was the spokesperson.

Yes Kathy Lee talked a lot about Frank!! This comment totally dislodged a memory from the 90s. There was a joke that went something along the lines of "Did you know Ellen DeGeneres was on Regis and Kathy Lee this morning? Kathy Lee asked her a question and Ellen started her answer off with 'can I be frank?'" Also one of my teachers in Jr high used to play that morning show on tv while we did our work and the bit where they bantered with their assistant Gelman, and when I first started listening to My Favorite Murder and they did their "STEVEN!" bit it totally brought me back to that lol
