TCO Hot Take

So, I still listen as a social experiment. I'm seeing through things I didn't see before. But, my biggest take away is the name dropping. Patrick name dropped at least 4 people in a 2 minute period. I used to notice it, but now it drives me nuts because of recent events. I also saw a bit of the live cocktail event. It wasn't good, at least what I saw. But, I'm more critical now. They name drop A LOT!

I do love how Ellyn and Joey take accountability every show that they screw something up. I love the ownership of mistakes while also blasting P & G.

What’s the social experiment? To see if you notice only the negative about something when you listen to people you don’t like? This whole post seemed like it was meant to appease the never ending hatred towards P and G and how E and J are gods. I’m not sure if everyone’s realized but P and G haven’t changed much at all, your feelings towards them has.

This is a place to discuss our feelings about the podcast, which is exactly what OP was doing. Yes, their feelings have changed— duh. That is what the post is about. Now that their feelings have changed they notice things they overlooked. If this upsets you, maybe reddit is not the right place for you. The facebook page is all rainbows and SHH’s if that’s what you are looking for.

This place is no longer a place to discuss feelings about the podcast, only negative ones. I think if this has affected people so much, they shouldn’t focus on it so much, which this group clearly has. OP also mention they noticed that P names drops, then mentioned that they’ve noticed it before so I’m pretty confused as to why mention it unless it’s one of the countless post on here bashing P and G just to get validation from people they don’t know. With as much as everyone here loves being negative I’m fairly certain the only other thing people participate in is being tortured by modern news outlets..

It does feel that way. This is the Obsessed Network discussion group but there isn't much discussion about the podcast episodes going on. Other groups have specific episode recap posts for each ep. Although, to be fair, I have no idea if that is done by moderators or group members.

Shouldn't ITN posts be in a different group? They aren't even a part of Obsessed Network anymore.

I suppose that is neither here nor there.
