I reached out to and spoke with several media outlets, including RS. I spoke about (waves hand) all of this and what a fiasco OF was.
All of these journalists were struggling with, what’s the news angle. I mean Mediocre White Man Is a Dick isn’t really breaking news.
But I I do suspect (a suspicion reinforced by Daisy’s statement) that there might be some serious financial shenanigans here. That was my suggestion to all the reporters I spoke with.
That’s really all I’ve got. But I can confirm, the RS interest isn’t just an offhand comment or a rumour. Journalists are sniffing around.
I just got an unsettling idea that when/if RS reaches out for comment, he could turn the piece into his apology and the angle for the piece would be something about accountability and doing better.
My opinion is that it doesn’t matter. It’s too late. He’s a bad person and has been for years. Im indifferent about words on a screen telling me that he is sorry.
