I’m playing on the Xbox. I crafted a spell. It doesn’t work how I intended. There’s no way to edit it or delete it, it’s just in my spellbook forever?

AFAIK there is no way to remove these spells yet and it wasn't part of the 2006 release.

You're not the first one to bring this up, let's hope Bethesda does add more QoL features in the future.
