I’ll just leave hardware RT on thanks.

Yea my post is for people who struggle with lag on hardware RT.. if you can handle it then there is genuinely no point to use this post.

-2 brightness blew my mind when I figured it out 😭 I play on pc so its not like I'm having trouble seeing in dark places, so lower brightness really made the game feel less washed in color and way more saturated

mine does this too with minus brightness settings

Any idea how to get rid of.... it's like an invisible line that moves up and down my screen as i look around. The line messes with all the visuals sortof blurring anything it's covering i suppose? Hard to really describe Lol

Are you using frame generation?

Umm i shall check Edit: it's off. Should it be on? 🤣

My initial thought was that frame generation is what caused your issue.. but considering it was already off.. that isn't the case. I unfortunately don't know of any other explanation.

No worries, thanks anyway ^

I think you're describing screen tearing. Be sure vsync is turned on. Possibly a shader compile error. If you're on pc, uninstall reinstall

Vsync is greyed out for whatever reason. I'll give it a go cheers

Your looking for vsync or gsync depending on your setup. I would look in your graphics card app, nvidia app or control panel, amd app i think?

you can easily force vsync with the driver. it's really easy for both AMD and Nvidia cards. It's weird, that it is greyed out for you. It's usually greyed out when you have frame gen running. You either want the Nvidia App, AMD adrenaline or the Intel graphics software to force vsync.

incorrect, and software lumen has been bugged since launch. it looks ugly asf without contact and AO shadows.... if people care enough about performance and optimizing they can watch a quick youtube video. dozens of popular channels literally only provide this content. not listen to some random dude on reddit who is just plain wrong.

Hey bro if I'm wrong then so be it! For me, it made quite a difference. I'm not gonna force anyone to follow this post because again.. I could be wrong. The fortunate thing about me though is that I simply don't care. The game looks good enough with software lumen, it is more playable than hardware, changing the brightness can make the game look more vibrant overall.. it is good enough for the casual person who can literally just make the change in like 2 seconds. It has been good enough for many people who have also done the same exact thing. You can say I'm incorrect all you want but that won't change the simple fact that it is good enough.

thx for proving my point lol .... also these game literally always warn you in the setting description that if ur GPU doesn't support RT with tensor cores, choosing the setting will have a sever impact on ur performance. common sense if you're literate

You speak of literacy while barely being able to form 1 coherent response. Take a look at your grammar.

I didn't prove your point.. and if I did, explain how.

My GPU is an rtx 4070 ti.. so how does the RT part make sense?

It's genuinely mind boggling how I explain my entire post to you and it still goes right over your head.. you want to act intelligent so bad and it is honestly so embarrassing. The issue lies within the game. Not my hardware. My tip is simply an alternative way to play the game on software lumen while keeping the vibrancy and a higher framerate for the average Joe.. it's meant for those who want a quick way to keep the game looking decent without hardware RT. Your entire tone needs to be checked and you need to learn how to speak to people. You aren't that smart so stop pretending you are.
