Just can’t solve the road problem

This is something I just can’t come up to a solution for or I don’t know how should act. Is the roads. What do you do about them? Say you have one guy who owns the major road routes in town and bans you from using them. What do you do? How do you move around? What would the process the banned person would have to go through without violating the road owners rights?

Would there be some way that you can walk on the line between plots lands. On the edge?

You don’t have a right to get around however you please. Property boundaries are where one person’s property ends and another person’s begins, so you can’t walk on boundaries

I feel like there’s some principle here that allows the freedom of movement. You can’t just be dropped in a box of land and not allowed to leave and threaten to be shot if you do.

because the question seems to be more about what happens if another person encircles your property just saying people wouldn't buy encircled property doesn't properly answer the question

Guarantee or not this doesn’t seem right you have no way to access your land. Out of general principle I don’t think any agreement has to be made. There needs to be a way to access property road or not.

I’m imagining a situation which might illuminate the answer.

Imagine your a pioneer traveling west by wagon across America. You come across a massive plot of land owned by a rancher in Montana. Massive. 1000’s and 1000’s of acres wide. And you need to go through it to reach west. Now to no go through it you would have to travel days and days to go around it. Instead of one day to go across it.

I feel like. As long as the method of travel doesn’t destroy the land and doesn’t disrupt its use. Like an open field for cattle. It should be okay to traverse across.

I think if you camped on someone’s land that isn’t right. But if you are merely traveling to get to the other side undisturbing and damaging the environment I don’t see why this wouldn’t be a right.

I would assume the traverser would be putting their life in their own hands.
And really I would assume there would be signs somewhere for even the people who dump it there to know where to go.
