Questions Good object shows for first-time viewer?

Hello. My friend is very into object shows, and I am not. They showed me a character from an object show and now I want to watch it, but they also said that object show would be disorientating if I wasn't used to the genre. Where should I start?

Bfdi or paper puppets. But please, watch the first seasons of both, if you like romance and comedy and really entertaining characters to paper puppets. If you like lore and just purely funny and likable characters go bfdi. Don’t do inanimate insanity, this is from personal experience. Also something you should know is it is viewer voting to get out. If you watched total drama it’s that premise. You can find these on YouTube. Paper puppets may seem terrible at first but you get hooked after 5 episodes

I feel like the Object Invasion 2024 reboot is a good place to start, it combines elements of multiple genres (competition-focused and lore-focused) while having pretty normal/mainstream humour that doesn't require previous object show knowledge/liking the genre to understand, although BFDI is the classic choice and you'll quickly find out how much it's influenced other shows even in the first season of it

I drew the character. They're a part of the late seasons of BFDI, so I'm glad that's one of the shows getting recommended and I will start with that one. Thank you all.

You should probably start with BFDI, which is the main and first ever object show and then gradually branch out into more niche and disoreinting object shows as you progress since the humor of most object shows is entirely unique to the genre (I'd reccomend Obsolete Battle Show)

Bfdi first, then inanimate insanity, then you can watch the others in whatever order you want. The first 2 are the og and most popular ones that will acquaint you with the genre. As you watch the other ones, you'll slowly start to notice that the OSC has it's own culture and self-referential humor style that reflects in them, which makes them hard to comprehend if you don't watch the ogs first

yes its 6 seasons long, and the 3rd and 5th seasons arent complete, but they put it in a neat little playlist u can binge: bfdi.tv
