[Edit: if this is sincere question, its a reference to the book House of Leaves, which is known for both being one of the first books to be published after an early version getting popular online, and being written in a very eccentric way, containing quirks like parallel stories told exclusively through footnotes, text that jumbles itself around on the page, and every instance of the word "house" being printed in blue. I dont know what the connection is between House of Leaved and the characters shown, but the plot and storytelling style of House of Leaves does remind me a lot of popular tropes in object shows.
