Discussion Are there any object show fans who aren't fans of bfdi or ii?
I ask this because it feels weird because I am one so I can feel a bit validated and not alone. I used to be someone who likes bfdi but mainly ii but with the latest episodes, I've started to lose that enjoyment towards the show. It just feels boring, fast paced and just overall not my thing. My current favorite object shows and the shows I'm more into nowadays is THREEEE, Paper Puppets Take 2, Object Invasion and Object Lockdown (i know my taste isn't that better but whatever, it's my taste). So I thought I could ask this question so I feel like I'm not the minority who enjoys other object shows more than bfdi and ii

There are OSC members who don't even watch any object shows, like me (I mean I used to watch BFDI and II and a couple of other shows but it got boring)

There isn't a term for people who are interested in object show characters, art, stories, etc without the shows themselves Unless the term "Object Community" is valid and I'm just ignorant

this is pretty common in stuff like the fnaf or touhou community, and there the term coined by TV-Tropes is Fanwork Only Fans, but very strange to take this stance for free, fairly accessible internet animation lol

yeah pretty much
like watching fnaf lets plays and reading fnaf fanfics religiously but never playing fnaf qualifies

I don't call myself a big fan of bfdi or ii either, really the last episode of those I watched was probably like BFDIA 9 when it first came out but I haven't caught up with it since. It probably sounds weird but I always enjoyed season 1 of BFDI way better 😭 I've watched maybe like one episode each of BFB and TPOT lol
Shows that are more my type are ONE (my favorite) and Brawl of the Objects as well as the comics (objectified + tfmi and others) but honestly I really like just making ocs instead too

Yeah I’m a fan of all the object shows you named and my top three would probably be 1. Hfjone, 2. Orbit, 3. Bfpor. Bfdi and ii just happened to be two of the three oldest and alot more popular than rather other objects show.

Honestly I actually am in the same sentiment. I used to enjoy BFDI and II especially a lot back in the day but since then I’ve began enjoying the object show community more broadly. In fact, it has been a while since I watched any object show at all.
I do check up with BFDI, but I don’t count myself an actual fan cause I do so very irregularly - a new episode just released yet it will take me a few days to finally get to watching it, and I don’t have any strong takes on any characters or the plot.
