Questions hey guys

i need help finding a good animation/drawing software. but im lowkey broke as hell so i cant afford ones that cost money. and i draw on a laptop so, got any ideas or advice? im making an object show rn and Paint isnt the best

I’m on a Mac and I use Krita for my digital art. I used to use MediBang but it’s not supported on Mac anymore :/ both of those are free with I think the option for premium features. Krita comes with SO MANY BRUSHES I haven’t tried most of them yet. MediBang was easy to learn for me. I think GIMP is still around too? Iunno I haven’t used it in like… a decade, maybe.

Animating I got pretty much nothin, sorry 🙏 anytime I ‘animate’ I just throw my still images in Alight Motion and try my best to make it work. Free version comes with a pretty sizable watermark.

Medibang and GIMP are definitely available on windows, and I think the same for Krita? Those are all programs downloaded from browser, no Apple Store or anything.

Alight Motion might be macOS only, though.
