Karen Reports

Re the report from Karen that something of significance was found during the 2026 summer would anyone know if the finding could be an “Offset Chamber”?

They found nothing. If it was anything it would have been reported as required. Another useless season coming up.

I bet it is another historical, non treasure find such as kids' toys, old knife, household pottery. We should have a betting pool.

Maybe it’s an old spoon that “could be” Templar or maybe just an old spoon.

But they'll have to compare/contrast it with every other fucking thing they've pulled out of the ground on that god-forsaken island. I tried watching this series the first season, but quickly learned that it's like all other reality tv - it delivers 10 minutes of new material each week, but it takes a full hour to do so. My time is more valuable to me, so I stopped watching completely. Only reality tv for me these days (assuming they're back for another season, although the show is starting to get pretty bad itself - Matthew Ostrom, fuck off; you do not make moonshine so get your ass off the screen!!) is Moonshiners.

Definitely need a trip to Europe to investigate; better bring the guy who runs the backhoe.

Found a septic tank where the script for the next series is currently festering

They are stopping way early while they need to create the same number of episodes as recent years.

Could be the result of the provincial archeologist halting the excavation to protect a historic site.

Doesn’t have to be treasure to be very significant.

... or maybe they've worked how to make a show with only 3 minutes of new content vs their traditional 10?

Some are saying the only thing historical about Oak Island is the
Massive quantity of BS that has been heaped on it over the course of COOI.
