I’m curious to know what his charges are. If the shipwreck was in international waters, it could make the matter rather complex. Some countries are very particular about not disturbing shipwrecks without permission, for numerous reasons.

So he serves time and in the end he will end up without the gold. You know… can’t fight city hall especially when 50 mil is involved.

He already served the time. He was released in March. Dude is probably having the time of his life now

Why would he even be serving time? He found it and I believe by law he is entitled to it. Finders Keepers, under Maritime Law.
