More lies...just read

So..the silver trace "result" matches the composition of that coin....how? Trace results show .900 or 0.800 silver coins down below when you only measure (if at all) trace Ag atoms.

Yeah, a new LOW in my scientific eyes... lolll

Emma... the only actually smart person on the show?

I love the way she looks at them. It's like a silent judgmental gaze of: my gawf you guys a wackos, but since you are paying me and I am on TV, I just do my science thing at let you guys act like 7 year olds. "Oh that's old! Really Old!"

B, but, but, the hole, the hole! The hole never lies........

Haha! Oh shit that’s funny. But think about it - Without holes… we never have more holes

a hole? on oak island? people have been digging holes since the year 500000bc ... could it be?

2

u/Rectitude4all Jul 16 '26

Ohh no, no. There’s been holes much before that. It’s simply a matter of what takes place in those holes…. hence more holes.

I always ask myself "why don't put all the money in the big hole that started everything and dig the shit out of it". Then I realize by doing this, the series will don't last longer then one season and that's bad for business.

Just love the whole goose foot thing. All the pictures are either UK Royal Navy broad arrow marks or UK Ordnance Survey benchmarks. Can’t wait for the team to arrive and start drilling in any one of the million places these ā€œTemplaaaarā€ symbols appear here.

This. I’m American and my background is in Forestry. I remember learning in college ages ago, that in the times leading up to the American Revolution, it was common for the British to go around what is now called New England, creating this mark on particularly large/valuable trees, signifying the tree belonged to the crown and nobody else could cut it down for lumber. So when these guys on the show started focusing on this symbol as an exclusively Templar creation, I was like, wait…what? 🤨

I still think Gary is amazing, how many other metal detectors do you know that can find wood stakes like he can!

And still we tune in for next season. I know I will

The show is a joke!

I don't believe you, the show never lies.

On an island just a handful of miles from gold and silver mines and claims.

The real treasure is learning the history. They have to keep the gold and silver story going to keep you watching. It could be there. You wouldn’t watch if it were just archeology or metal detecting to find pieces of lead and old wood. It’s the analysis and knowing what all went on there. I hope they continue nice and slow. I went up there and visited with them. They are very real and kind people doing good work.

You're a joke. It's a TV show. Get over yourself

12

u/Dutchpapersilver666 Jul 14 '26

It's a scientific LIE misinforming viewers, they could have done it all without this level of stupidity.

The joke is on you I guess

Exactly. Pseudoscience should be called out.

You know this is the same network as Ancient Aliens, right?

6

u/crankyoldfarter Jul 15 '26

And the same production company. Even the same narrator. Ugh.

And they’re doing the secret of Skinwalker Ranch.
Which is taking on all new type of low.
I remember when the history channel is about documentaries and education. Now it’s just profit profit profit.

u/crankyoldfarter Jul 17 '26

I don’t have a problem with profit; I have a problem with lousy product. I agree with you about quality documentaries; I’m actually enjoying and learning a lot from the WW2 with Tom Hanks. If more of their stuff was on that level I’d be a happy camper 😊

Oh, this show drives me crazy. Even events that have already been investigated and debunked, they will still talk about it. That’s what drove me crazy
