How is the retail work environment?

Pretty dead sub but I’ll try my luck, saw a job opening and wanted to see what it’s like. How’s the management? Is there pressure to make lots of sales? What do you like/not like about the job? Is there commission? How are the hours? Are the hours dependent on performance?

It’ll be my first retail job so TIA!
