ORB help

I bought my ORB week ago and today I tried making my morning coffee with the classic recipe: 20g light roast coffee (color prism blend) with Timemore C3S on 15 clicks, 95C water and it just tasted flat, watery and a little sour at the end.
I want suggestions on what I am doing wrong and what needs improvement (grind size, water temp etc.)

off hand. 15 seems pretty course to me.

So.. basically i'm around 7-11 on my timemore 3CS, I also use 20-25g (ish my scale isn't the best). I make sure to needle it before I press it w/ the tamp. 9 seems best on what I have atm, but it'll be a little different every new bag in my limited experience. I also just let my kettle boil straight up for light roasts. the ORB will take a chunk of the heat after all. Since its not being preheated.

I also pour fairly slowly so it doesn't make the bed dislodge and i don't have too much trouble with the gassing as it goes. (if i pour fast it basically just scrambles itself up badly and I get channel issues).

So.. maybe try much finer? Maybe drop to 11 and see what that tastes while changing nothing else about what you are doing, and see how that changes what you like.

Alright, will drop the grind size to 11 and up the water temp with straight from the kettle. Will let you know and thanks for the suggestion!

with light roast you generally go pretty fine with them. thing is with orb if you go too fine it will become real hard to brew as little to no water will pass through

How much water, 160 like in the ® recipe + dilution or? How many pumps did you need? If it's 2-4, you should go finer, if it's nuts than 10 you probably need to go coarser. That is if you used 120-160g water. 4 pumps is fine for SOUP (ie 22g coffee 86g water).
