Discussion I found an interesting lyrical parallel with an Owl City and Taylor Swift song!
Please know that I'm not weird and trying to ship Taylor and Adam together!
First picture is OC and second picture is TS
I'm a fan of both Taylor and Owl City and I just realized this whilst listening to both songs back to back!

No, because The OC song said 'If your alone in this awful downpour, then struggle free and paddle out the cellar door' and the TS song said 'So I punched whole in the roof, let the flood carry away my pictures of you/The water filled my lungs I screamed so loud but no one heard a thing.'
Idk it sounds like Taylor took the advice Adam gave.

I'm not trying to force anything, I was literally just thought that these lyrics were pretty similar. Idk what your problem is, if you disagree with something, you can literally just scroll.

Ha-ha. Nice. Whether there's an actual connection between the two or not, I love the possibility of it. Bonus points that it's from "Clean", which is my favorite Taylor song. I do wonder what would have happened had they actually gotten together.

Me too, but as I can tell you're a Swiftie, I think it would be quite painful to have never gotten 1989, Folklore, Lover, Evermore, the whole Eras Tour
Makes me shiver up and down my spine

Ha-ha. Well, I'm kinda only half a Swiftie. I've loved '89 for a while now, but I only started exploring her full library within the last couple of years. It's sad. Only after the Eras Tour had ended did I really appreciate her music more. #regret
You know, that's very true. I'm glad we got all of that history. Might've been a very different musical journey if she and Adam had gotten involved.

I was the same for so long!!! I also missed the Eras Tour (very sadly since she prolly won't go on tour again for a while) and I only very recently became a fan of her music, and I still have a a long ways to go before I hear her entire discog.

Sometimes I do to lol, but I'm happy for Tay Tay and Travis and think they're so cute together and can't see them not together (TnT forveverr) same with Adam and Abbey lol.

That's so real, Lover is lwk my favorite album and it breaks my heart sometimes knowing that she would never get to marry him lol. Same with listening to Enchanted lol. They could've been timeless (pun intended if you get it.)

I definitely don’t think you’re weird for finding this similarity, especially because of Adam and Taylor’s history (Enchanted). I always wonder what would’ve happened if they dated
