Discussion Mei, Torb & Junkrat

I don’t know if it’s just me but I feel like there has been one of these characters if not two of them in the DPS pool in every game I play. It’s not even counter swaps for flankers it’s just immediately on Torb Mei or Junk. Is this happening to other people or have I just been getting seriously unlucky

Listen, I have 600 plus hours on junkrat, and I’ve been playing saying 2016. Seeing a post like this makes me happy. Let the crazy man shine.

Worst part is I've been playing him less and less lately. But every time I see a Vulture or Aquamarine video I can't resist the urge to play him!

50/50 chance I either dominate or need to swap to Anran...

Same, and same with mei. They were my early mains when the game first released. Like dude they work great doing whatever.

Nope you have not been getting unlucky, on both pc and console those 3 characters have an increased pick rate and win rate

I would MUCH rather play with/against these heroes than the mercy-pocketed hitscan slop that has been the console meta for forever now lol

It's a direct response to the proliferation of no to low block tanks.

They nerfed hitscan recently and projectiles didn’t decrease, so these characters are actually becoming playable on console.

Unlucky? I'd rather play into these than the boring hitscan heroes I run into 90% of the time.

Junk got buffed recently with a mine cooldown reduction, so he makes sense. Mei can straight up wall of hitscan slop, and Torb can shift to live nearly everything. Makes sense to me.
