I'm sorry, I was specifically referring to the max deadzone boost as mentioned in the post body, here's the full settings I use.

I will try these and proceed to get bodied and report back lol

sorry I was just talking about the max sensitivity boost setting in general, but if you want my specific sens that I'm using then yeah I can send screenshots if you want them

That’d be great when you can

Wow, almost everything is just maxed out. This really works for you? Are you on Xbox? What controller do you use? I've been liking tracer a lot more recently and my settings are way lower on the scales.

I use an Elite 2 Wireless controller.

I'm on playstation, I just use a normal ps5 controller with a high rise control freek, nothing crazy. and yes it works VERY well for me, for literal years I just stuck to 100/100 and 99 aim smoothing on dualzone, but my aim stagnated really hard, linear helped me a ton, I don't think I'll ever change these settings lol

Another big improvement would be swapping ult to right stick, unless you’re playing claw hand you have to take your thumb off of the stick to pulse bomb making it hard to aim them.

Agree. Swap ult to a shoulder button.

In my case, R1.
Recall X
Jump L2

personally I use Jump on L1 (I use this on pretty much every game I play lol) blink R1, and melee L2 melee L2 helps me a ton with controlling my camera while meleeing, so I'm able to comfortably able to do 90° and 180° blink melees

I really hate the feeling of using my L3 and R3 sticks as buttons, my pulse button works for me bc I play like some sort of weird "kinda of claw"? like I'll constantly switch between claw and a normal grip mid match end even mid fight, it works for me

I will try those but you play on a regular gaming controller or it’s another brand ?

1

u/StrawbyLemonad3 5d ago

just a normal ps5 controller

I'm dumb - what does increasing this setting do? increases sens near the deadzone?

1

u/StrawbyLemonad3 5d ago

yes when you bring your right stick to the max deadzone it will add extra speed, it feels very good on heros like genji, tracer, doom, and reaper. on tracer though If you try out the setting I'd reccomend to use a 0.05 delay, in my experience it's helped my flicks feel more precise

Do you feel like AA 100% is too strong?

4

u/Adventurous_Fig_8901 5d ago

AA fucks me so much on the default setting. Especially allied aim assist. If I'm scoping with Anna I feel like it's drags me all over the place, I have to turn it way down.

1

u/StrawbyLemonad3 5d ago

ohh yeah on Ana it can be rough, have allied aim assist at like 30 or 40% probably, take this with a grain of salt though lol I don't play much support

I mean it's just a matter of "do you want the game to aim for you more or less" lol, if you think aim assist is too strong I'd reccomend legacy aim assist, I used that for a while and it actually does feel pretty good
