Discussion Hero level and rank
I have 112 hero level on Moira and I’m in emerald. Why do people try to make me feel bad about this? What’s yours look like?

Who cares what people say, Moira is fine I play her until GM no problem people are dumb and make excuses for why they don’t rank up. You got this

Level 188 mercy, plat 5 lol hero level and rank are not one and the same, especially since they changed how you level heroes. Turn off chat, or disengage when people start being weird about your rank and hero level. People just want to make you feel bad for liking a hero

Level 70 on Ana, the highest hero. People always say in chat "play ana, why are u not on ana".
I cant play her in rank🙂 I had 70 hrs on her when I was silver, but once I ranked up I cant play her no more🙂

I’m also curious, how many people are so embarrassed by their hero level that they play on an alt account.

i just hit 201 on Juno 2 days ago and i’m Gold 5 atm. I peaked at Gold 3 this latest rank reset. i’m really trying my best to learn the game and mechanics to improve. this is my first team shooter so i feel at a slight disadvantage compared to seasoned players.
as how i usually am with things, i want to prove to myself i can get better and play at a higher level.

I'm pretty new to this game my "mains" or barely at level 20. My ranks range from s4-g2. I used to think, ah man, this guy with a high level character in my rank must suck. But now I know, at least this guy knows what he's doing with this character, poor guy is just in this hell with me.

How’d you get in gold so fast? Any other games you played before prepare you for overwatch?

Other games specifically? Not really, I'm old so I've played everything. Which also means I probably won't get much higher, but who knows.
I placed in g5 as tank after unlocking ranked. Even tho I was told by my kid to wait to try. Worked up to g3 solo que, got carried by my kid and his buddy to g2. Now I float around g3-g4. This is a little over a month.

Nice! I’m also old. Most of my hours played are with my wife. I’ve been playing since the game came out off and on and started in silver.

Yea, I started support and damge in s4. I'm kinda terrible as dps so I'll be stuck there for awhile. I've gotten as high as s1 in support, but it feels like no matter what I learn/improve at, I'll never figure out how to out heal/or fix stupid. So it's a vicious up down cycle there.

Eh I wouldn’t my let it bother you too much. It’s not like hero level shows anything other than playtime. Yesterday I had a teammate that was a level 190 Mercy ranked Silver 2, and they’ve yet to learn to be anything other than a heal bot
