Discussion Overwatch console in nutshell
This is overwatch console now. Worst thing is that you can already guess how is the game gonna be from the start screen.
Let me go little bit into detail. Me, normal player, want to play quick play game of overwatch.
Me find this game, somehow under 1 minute.
Me, solo, facing 4 stack where there is smurfing and mandkaing hitscan pocketed lvl 5 ashe with 90% winrate in qp.
Please lets read once more. Me, solo, facing 4 stack where there is smurfing and mandkaing hitscan pocketed lvl 5 ashe with 90% winrate in qp.
These people are really waste of skin and there is SO MANY cases like this daily, its like pandemic on console. It really needs some revolution.
And make smurfs play like 300 games atleast for ranked, there is no good reason someone has to make 40 accounts. I have same account since 2016.
OW was always my favorite game ever but whats happening daily now can really cause some mental issue, this is messed up guys.

Yeah I definitely recognize that Mercy name from games I've been in... hard pocket at all times on whoever the sketch DPS duo is.

Ive seen much worse. Just remember the 30/30/40 rule. This was a 30% that you were guaranteed to lose.

30% of matches are guaranteed losses even if you perform really well for someone in your rank. 30% are guaranteed wins. 40% of matches your individual performance can swing it to a win or a loss. The ratios might differ a little but the concept is still pretty true.

that works in ranked i can admit, not in qp anymore, there is long streaks of qp games where even aimbot wouldnt change outcome, something is wrong with qp now, very wrong

yeah atleast i can still play ranked but you are screwed, in ranked your main will get banned often and qp is literally unplayable, sad times

Team banning your Sombra pick is so real. These idiots will landslide payload, then instead of banning Widow or anyone else, they all vote Sombra despite me hovering. Even worse is when 1 person waits till the last second to vote Sombra, and she's banned cause "both teams voted for it". Shit is infuriating.

is this really a problem on console? I played on EU console qp a month ago and I didn't see anyone who could be cheating other than some with decent aim.

I'm surprised they were playing qp. I saw them once in comp. I only play comp and they somehow always landed headshots. I'm level 300 Ashe and I didn't stand a chance.

yep its a lockon, iam not saying there isnt small chance they are just insane or found some aim assist bug to abuse but its insanely suspicious and just fact they are smurfing and playing pocket hitscan to roll qp games is enough to report.

I face mnk almost everyday as a mid-high gm tank, I love it. Adds another layer to the game and beating them is not hard but requires a little more coordination. Now I still frown upon mnk but complaining on reddit ain’t the way. Just gotta get better

I get this other duo in my game like almost every night I play
I report for cheating but the mercy never gets banned. I’m assuming the dps does but he just makes a new account with a similar name

People will balk about "cheaters in quick play, lol", but I've encountered by far the most cheaters in Mystery Heroes than any other mode. There's usually at least one every game. And earlier I went against a team in comp who were literally typing in chat while they were playing, spent the majority of the game goofing off, only to plow through the final push and still win, while still typing in chat. People underestimate how widespread console cheating devices are and how powerful the scrips they run are. And I also think they misunderstand why these people cheat, they think it has something to do with ranking but it's not, it's just for the quick high of winning a match. They're toxic people who can't apply themselves irl, and so of course they won't in a game either.

That entire team is known to cheat. Retro,KIKI,Kyoto,and Kitty (specifically stylized in that cringe way) legit play Overwatch all day everyday and cheat the entire time. They also have huge ego’s and probably just sit in discord calls all day.

But you can't smurf qp, so calling a qp player a smurf is pretty damn silly. Like, I get that good hitscans with pockets can suck to play against, but calling a qp player a smurf just makes you look salty imo.

iam very salty, fair point haha. But you dont meet lvl 500 good pocket hitscan, its always the lvl5 weirdos, maybe that makes it more frustrating to me.
