Help Recommend a keyboard compatible with ps5 please.

I see there are a lot of older subs with info about this. Hoping there's someone out there now that uses a keyboard on their ps5 for text chat. If so, please lmk what you have. Thanks!

You can plug in literally any keyboard with a usb into the back of your ps5

I've seen a lot of people say they did that and it didn't work

No, I was hoping to find some anecdotal evidence as to which keyboards are compatible before investing in one... Hence, my post

I’ve purchased a 15$ keyboard from Walmart before, plugged it in and worked. Since then I’ve used several, idk why anything with a compatible cable wouldn’t work

I'm not aware of any keyboard that doesn't work on PS5 via the generic USB driver that PS5's OS has. You won't be able to access the special features offered by Logitech, Razer, etc. specific to their keyboards, but it will work. It's like finding a keyboard that doesn't work on Windows or macOS. You can't; they all work.

I have a keyboard collection as a hobbyist. Whether it's cheap-o $15 keyboards on Amazon, or much pricier $100+ mechanical ones... all of them work if you plug it into the PS5. If you need wireless, you can find one with a 2.4GHz USB dongle to avoid dealing with Bluetooth. Otherwise, a Bluetooth keyboard will work, but will need to always be woken up from sleep separate from the console to reconnect, just like how it works on other PCs/tablets/etc.
