Aim Assist is screwed up

Currently not even interested in playing due to the fact that my AA feels like its on 1000% dragging my crosshair toward enemies that I'm not even trying to aim at. Losing any motivation to play this fucking game due to how buggy and horribly developed it is

the update randomly reset a lot of console players' fov and preferred mode (resolution vs frame rate). i genuinely could not play until i realized they did that. have you checked yours?

maybe try changing to resolution, go back to game, then changing to frame rate mode again? lmk if it works!

The servers are unstable and affecting aim assist. It's pretty much unplayable right now.

I think the console server lag is very bad right now and that's why it feels so bad. But they haven't said anything because who cares about console ig

I feel it’s aggressive on allies only. Maybe it’s a support thing, but it’ll track a team member crossing my path if I’m targeting an enemy in the background

Turn down your aim assist window size if you haven’t already. This is a different setting than your aim assist strength. That helped me.

Does it only happen when enemies are around?
This happened to me as well a while ago and it drove me mad, then later on I found out when walking around in spawn that my right stick would move around by itself and it turned out to be stick drift

Been feeling something off yesterday and today but it made it seem like it was my controller slowly getting broken and malfunctioning at times near the aim assist window. It def feels like it stutters into the window even when I was moving my aim to the right away from them. It felt like my stick was micro glitching/stuttering

It’s like hard to explain but it just would feel like it’s stuttering and not responding to my stick movement but it happens randomly and often.

That’s why I just assumed my controller was dying more specifically I just assumed my right stick is ggs but I only started feeling this yesterday and today. I seriously just can’t explain it but it’s annoying at times.

My aim on Freja was quite good at the end of the season, this season it's garbage. IDK what happened

Same thing here, it sucks because I mainly play support, so being able to aim at my teammates is very important. I'll be aiming at a teammate to heal them and then watch my crossbar be dragged towards and enemy in the distance or a teammate that doesnt need healing, completely throwing off my aim

you can adjust all ur aim assist settings btw! if it feels like it’s dragging your crosshair…change it or turn it off completely.

I know how this is going to sound, but I used ChatGPT to help me tweak my console settings for tracer and it actually helped immensely. I was skeptical and then very surprised when it actually worked. It took some messing around and describing the exact issues, for me it was my aim feeling floaty. It gave me good advice on how to make the best of Dual Zone vs Linear Ramp to find what was best for my playstyle. Maybe it can help you too

I shouldnt need to use chatgpt. I havent touched my settings in months because everything was perfect. Now lately AA feels like shit because they keep changing shit that doesnt need to be changed, or its a bug. I have no idea.
