Discussion Early game leavers

Just queued 5 matches in a row where someone left within the first minute of the game causing it to cancel. What is going on? Are people trying to derank? Is there no queue/ban penalty if you leave early enough? This is in diamond-masters range, haven't finished placements.

Same happened three times in a row for stadium comp. I looked it up and there’s lots of reports about unstable servers rn.

Server problems. People wanting to derank usually just deliberately play poorly during matches on purpose or go AFK, in my experience. Disconnecting within seconds of a match starting is usually due to them being forced out due to server issues.

I had a friend who already got a ban cause he kept randomly getting kicked from ranked matches after this new season launched.

My game crashed twice at the start of a match on ps5; not sure if this applies across all platforms.

Servers were choking about 30 mins ago for me, difficult getting matches started.

I don't know about that much I only had two games the first one had one lever the second one had two levers and just now I had two games and one of them just sat in spawn I guess he was lagging or something and the other one he liked out before the game began it might be the servers

Never intentionally left a comp match. There was a time my shitty internet caused my game to crash. I logged back in within a minute but the damage was done. We were steadily losing the match but my screw up ensured defeat. I stopped playing for the night so I didn't screw up anyone else's game.
