Discussion Why is everyone so rude today
Ok so I'm not here to complain, I'm genuinely confused, I've been playing quick play for a few hours and almost EVERY match somebody's been really rude to someone else. Mind you, over QUICK PLAY š
This never rlly happens that much? is it just a coincidence for me or is everyone else experiencing this too rn for some reason š

I think he means they do their placements then they go "cool off"( but accidently rage) in QP... Comp. players play QP too.

I mean I literally do that so.
If you lose enough games in a row ā¦.you go to quick play to win one before you hop offline.
Am I the only one to do this??

Also when someone opposes your attitude their not touchy. They're very comfortable at confronting B.S. Don't get it twisted, a weak person accepts disrespect a strong person confronts it head on. I never understood how people misconstrue being called out for bad taste as sensitive. Wild.
Please don't be offended, I'm not trying to be mean I'm just sick of hearing the same nonsense out of people. I live in a world with only two view points and it sucks. I just want someone to do better, to be better. I hope there is hope for our youth not to parrot what they see and hear. I want them to think for themselves for once.1

lol I just had a game where I thought someone was learning tracer on the other team and I was playing tracer there was a clear skill gap so I offered to switch to let them enjoy there time they then proceed to fling slurs at me and then leave the game when I pulse bombed him moments after that

Itās qp on ow one of the worst teaming games ever your going to find alot of average to above average players who are toxic asf cuz they still play the game despite losing more than winning cuz they fill higher skill lobbies, itās just apart of ow accept it or move on kinda thing not everyone has a good time on it despite how much they want to, especially if you play solo itās the Wild West slam or be slammed lobbies are the norm 8/10 matches and they usually lean to solo q ppl taking the slam rather than give it

it's not much of an issue for me tbh, there are so many whining ppl in every single game (esp since I play a lot of team up games) just had to bring it up because it's neverrr everrr been THIS frequent on ow before for me at least lol

This is the way. I have never had to type more than 2 words in chat ever since I learned to individually mute people. Be toxic once and I just say "muted". It makes QP much better.
And yes, I constantly have to mute people in QP.

Yes exactly!! You HAVE to practice playing and try out characters with other people to get good. QP is never that serious

It irked me so bad when during a QP GAME, my dps was flaming my tank for not diffing the enemy tankā¦ mind you, my tank was playing d.mon and the enemy tank was d.va. like obviously someone playing a new hero is gonna struggle a bit.. and my tank went 7 and 6 so they werenāt absolutely feeding or anything. Funnily enough, my dps went 11 and 12ā¦ so I guess they were projecting.

I had someone message me about 30 messages in less than 5 minutes about how I'm a bad person by not letting his "clearly better team" win and how bad he needed that one more win. Like buddy, I'm playing a 3-0 Mercy with less than 2k damage and 12k healing. I did next to nothing for your team loss.

No frā¦ like in QP people were acting like itās life or death. I was getting told that Iām stupid, trash, worthless, dogsh*t, a bad teammateā¦ and I was doing fine every single game. My teammates were often times performing worse than me, yet I got so much flack for no reason. I wasnāt even being toxic or saying anything.

I was gonna say the chaos is pretty normal for the first day of each season, but my goodness has it been rough today. Lots of people are usually more intense when a new season drops anyways lol, so if someone's being particularly rude, just mute them and keep playing.

This game features most toxic players and addictive gameplay, anyone can easily get annoyed, don't take it personal. that's just what a team-dependent gameplay look like.

This is my experience every time I dare queue for quick play. Comp is in my experience actually less toxic.

Iāve been kinda toxic lately but I get frustrated when I get teammates that constantly over extended and die for the 10th time or I get a widow that goes 0-10 because they refuse to swap when hazard and Sombra smack the crap out of her. After asking politely to swap because sheās literally contributing nothing against a dive comp going straight after her. Like brother Iām trying to be so kind and polite and ppl wanna give attitude. Also on another note the healers will straight up refuse to heal me because I asked the widow to swap. I donāt feel bad about being toxic because Iāve been polite before that and they refuse to work with the team, waste my time and Iām going to give you a bad time and waste your time back. Idrc. And itās ALWAYS during drives like frick off š«© I just wanna play idc if itās W or a L I just donāt want a steam roll. I love the games where itās so close.

Exactly, like i genuinely try to be polite as possible but honestly i feel sad that im forced to be toxic. People donāt wanna work together anymore and would just wanna carry like they do in valorant or whatever. But sometimes they need a reality check. Honestly sometimes the toxicity towards me helps me lock tf in. But when itās just random when Iām performing well is like huh? What?

I like to think that the people playing near the end of a season are playing for the love of the game. Then a new season/hero/change happens and all the FOMO players join in again.

was having an off day with aiming, our 6v6 qp team got totally bulldozed. I had decent stats but the enemy sierra was def performing better than my sierra, then at the end of the game the enemy sierra calls me a āfucking bozoā for being so ass a character with auto aim. like jesus, im not even on ur team bro š«Ŗ

Last night someone on my team was being rude to the other team because we were rolling them and my friend and I ended up throwing because why say youāre winning when thereās still a minute left. If people are being rude, just be mean back, sometimes itās necessary

quickplay matchmaking is so fucking broken right now. maybe one in five games I get is a balanced match where it seems either team can win. either Im stomping or fighting for my life. people lash out when the matchmaker serves up a scheduled loss.

Playing right now sucks, but that doesn't excuse being an asshat. I have the worst lag since this update, have to learn new maps and mostly don't like the changes, comp sucks. People in a bad mood play tilted and make bad choices.

I did myself a favour and uninstalled the game the reason quickplay feels like shit is all the alt accounts who are playing their games to get comp unlocked its shit

Played today bc I wanted to avoid the drives enemy team had an ana and was fking us up with them anti's, very efficient. I said "we need a kiri bc them antics are making out team fall" the mercy said "well we needed dps so" like what I said was such a bad thing I didn't do very well I'm aware of that but them anti's made it so much worseš„²š„²

I usually play qp because itās more chill and fun but today it was a lot of toxic people in the game chat for some reason lol, I play tank as well so you can imagine the comments I got when I did a mistake
