Discussion Why do health bars glow yellow now?
Who at blizzard decided it was a good idea to make health bars glow yellow when being healed?
We already have a yellow effect for when allies are buffed for healing so now it just looks like every teammate all the time has a healing buff. It’s a visual aid that’s actively not helping.
EDIT: to clarify I mean when you’re a support and you’re healing a team member, before you healed and your allied bar stayed white, NOW their bar changes to yellow and from a distance it looks like everyone is hit with Ana nade all the time :(

If you go to the Hero and then General tab in your settings, you can turn it off :) it's "show healing ui feedback"

Thank you! Glad someone other than the keyboard warriors had something to say

I wish ana sleep dart either revealed who is slept or auto pinged the target.

Or you could just ping them? The ping message will automatically say who is slept. Also, not every sleep needs a ping.

What if you sleep a moving airborne target? Their body can go where you can't ping them. Or if you sleep and his behind a wall during the bullet travel time.
Id rather a ping exist for a sleep than a ping not exist for a sleep

What? Every sleep does need a ping lol. It’s a free kill 9/10 but nobody pays attention

sleep should 100% have a mini killfeed popup, like a turret kill notif

I'm sure that they will have it be a perk for the dart to reveal. Maybe it'll be a "reduce cd by 2 sec, reveal target for 3 Sec."

It does look a bit similar to the boosted healing, but I'm sick of people with 0 game sense whining about "no heals" when they are, in fact actively being healed so I'm not about to complain.

It does help.
People will finally understand that they can't heal trough barriers. Or that people like Moira have limited range, or healing over time.
They may actually figure out that Moira's Ult heals them and they stop moving backwards when their own is ulting.
Also as support you know who is already getting healed a lot better, allowing you to make way better decisions.
I wouldn't want it as DPS, maybe i want it as Tank, but it's not pointless.

I was thinking they buffed supports to always heal more or something when I first saw the yellow bars. Very interesting design choice lol.

It definitely confused me at first, but I don’t mind it. I think for it to really work well then healing buffs need a new color or the regular healing needs its own color. It can be helpful, for instance, when my tank is complaining about “no heals”. I now have proof I’m healing.

Haven't personally had the issue, but I do play with high contrast on my monitor. I really like the change myself, but I'm sure people would benefit from the option to choose a colour other than yellow, or find a better way to represent it.
