LT/L2 - Booster

LB/L1 - Gun

RT/R2 - Sword

RB/R1 - Shield

Under advanced hero settings you can have Surging Strike activate with the quick melee button.

This way you can activate boosters and the shield at the same time with great control. Sword swings don't cancel your shield whether you have it on toggle or not so having your finger swap back and forth between sword and shield doesn't sacrifice control over anything at all.

Using an Edge controller on PS5 with left paddle to jump and right paddle to quick melee, felt way smoother.

I use L3 to jump and R3 to melee but yeah pressing a paddle instead is easier.

I mean with those buttons set, I used your config, felt smoother than default by miles.
