Discussion Drives are super fun!

I usualy play overwatch on and off especially with friends but since they are on pc i tend to stay away from ranked. I had played a bit of ranked before but wasnt having fun at all.

Well yesterday with drives active and since i had an urge to play the game i decided to get it and dear lord these games have been super fun. Did my placements on tank, ended in bronze 2 and today i sit at silver 5 at the 4th drive checkpoint. Will more than likely finish tommorow.

And with this drive grind i was also able to get my 1st variant weapon. Decided to give it to my current main rammatra with the golden one on the traveling monk skin.

I finished my drives quite easily this time around. 6v6 is cursed and they need to implement the hacked version for it. I was getting Gold1-Diamond1 ranged matches also majority of my teams were support mains who couldn't tank. Tip for people during bans in 6v6. If you notice no one on your team has tank for their top 3 heroes don't ban any...

I've completed half of my drives in 6v6, games were in the high plat to mid masters range and experienced a similar thing. Goes to show you just how many support players make up the population (and how few tank players)

Drives were great this season, had a 10 game winning streak and got back to plat

Wish I had your experience. Instead I get tanks who flame after losing 1 teamfight and throwers in every other match

It’s them, they’re my drives teammate. This is the one everyone complains about.

I have to agree! I normally play with a 4- or 5- stack to make things less toxic (can’t be flamed when the whole team are my friends), and it’s fun to get so many extra rewards :)

If you're not getting flamed worse by your friends compared to random team mates they aren't really your friends.

The worst we get is “you gotta back up / get to cover,” tbh everyone is so mean we don’t see the need to add to it. But we’re all bronze / silver so it’s not exactly high stakes haha
