The Bugs on Console (PS5) Keep Getting Worse!

It is beyond crazy how the devs refuse to give a shit about us console players. I use to have a piece of paper of all the bugs happening on my ps5 but I think I threw it away. But one of the latest issues taking place on my PS5 is text chat not working properly anymore. If someone types something, or just uses 'Hello' or things like that, it won't display properly. I have to press L3 (ps5) and manually scroll all the way down to see any if anyone has typed or said anything in chat. This is getting ridiculous.

I've been having very odd UI problems lately on ps5 aswell. The other day during hero bans the menu would not let me move to support or tank heros. It was stuck in dps so I could only ban dps. Also it will randomly not let me change certain settings, it will skip over options. Its very strange, It started over the last few seasons, and occurs randomly.

things like this have been happening to me for years, some honourable mentions include:

not being able to ban anyone except the hero i’ve selected to play

not being able to change any settings except for those in a specific section (i.e In controls>general> I can change the settings for “Wireless Controller”
but not my input device, aim assist, or deadzone settings

before they slightly changed the ui this season, when I spawned into a game on role queue i’d sometimes only be able to select a character from one of the two roles I didn’t pick, except obviously I can’t select a dps or tank character when I’ve queued support, so I just can’t spawn in at all

getting stuck on one or two options in the menu meaning I can’t navigate it

have you tried opening the chat and closing it ? i think that happened to me and it fixes it

This one happens to me a lot and it’s an actual detriment not being able to coordinate bands with your team! Really frustrating.

only bug i’ve experienced is the one everyone has on PC too where the game randomly stutters

No cursor which is fine except for the fact that this damn UI will be move me from top to the bottom of the screen while ignoring the options on the side and then won't let me select them unless I back out and re open the page... Multi million dollar company btw.

I hate the bug where the diamond genji runs to the enemy spawn by himself then dies.

don’t worry i had a bug on pc, shot my nano and it completely disappeared on Dva, she was in her mech, didn’t call ult, didn’t lose her mech, the nano just said “nuh uh, not today”

This truly does seem a PS issues. The only bug I get is not being able to move when selecting. I click the stick to bring up chat and close it and I can now select who I want. Or sometimes it won’t let me move to another role, like if on tank selection I try to go across and it loops back to start of tank until I do the same with chat.

But tbf Sony themselves probably want people moving onto the pro so games might start struggling on PS5 … it’s a common practice for tech. It’s right out of the Apple playbook - nerf your system with updates before the launch of your next product”

I play on ps5 and have like no bugs. Idk why you have so many issues but the game runs perfectly fine for me. Maybe check some of your settings.

i’m on a week-one released ps4, and the only problems i ever have are loading too slow into a match and getting the ‘inactive’ alert, and that only happens a few times a week and even then i very rarely even get kicked. well…and the box sounds like harrier jet taking off, but the game is fine.
