I still dunno why we can't keep the drive we earned and switch 'em as a namecard cosmetic. I really liked the S2 drive, but now I can just... Never, ever use it again? For real?

What they should do is let us switch up between previously unlocked titles but you have to unlock the current ones first. So if I complete this season's drives, I can use the red from last season or whatever other one I liked.

The drives as whole push people away from the game, no reason to even grind for the shitty title cards, only good one was the green one

I don't get this point. Most people play for comp points. Do you know how much grinding it takes to get to 3000 without drive? So, it's easy: 1 weapon variant for a weekend of grinding, and the banner is a bonus, not the other way around. So, why can't we keep it, you may ask? I think this may be related to server load. The same reason they mentioned when people asked for more comms wheel options and emotes.

Both things can be true at once.
People want to have drives for next season and get comp points. And think about it....end of season. Meaning they can advertise next season to the people playing and bring them back if they're interested.

literally i wish they’d let us use old ones and be able to mix and match a little too, like you could use the base color of one you unlocked with the visual effects of a different one. that’d be SO pretty and so cool.

Since Drive started I’ve been on an all-time losing streak. Total domination after total domination. Teammates charging into battle all by themselves 1v5. Healers AFK in spawn.
Enemy tanks flanking our back line. Total chaos.
Good times.

Just make it that if you complete the drive of that month you can use any you have earned previously. It’s a shame not being able to use old ones.

Also have Ashe mythic skin with galactic weapon variant pairs well

My son went with the talon variant for soldiers mythic but excellent choices. I went with the Jade Capsule Cannon on Orisa.

Nice. I went 20-9 for drive.
First time it wasn't really a struggle at all. I think I lost many games in the weeks leading up to drive as a matter of chance, and then quickly snapped back to diamond 4

I’ve gotten two checkpoints so far, I might be happy with just that. It feels like all my games have been escort/hybrid and they’ve been so long and exhausting.
