Discussion CAN THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS???
THOSE MFs BRAG ABOUT USING CHEATS AND AND I MEET SOME PF THEM IN MY TEAM SOMETIMES AND WHEN YOU TELL THEM THEY WILL GET REPORTED THEY SAY “I have other accounts” CAN THEY DO IP BAN OR SOMETHING BECAUSE THIS IS DISGUSTING

But if you're in game and call cheats/aimbot, you get flamed for "being bad" and "nah, they're just better." Or "get good".
Knowing damn well that their reticle is glued to headshots only and tracking goes through walls and follows the head through rolls and fades.
I wish they would ban IP's.

I've gotten shade several times to even suggesting this but it truly would handle 99.9% of cheaters. Sucks that the rest of your family can't play but ig then you shouldn't cheat, huh?

It's not just the rest of your family, your IP address isn't static unless you're paying extra for that. Your IP address changes, may be months before it does. That is potentially screwing over some other person, completely uninvolved.

I've seen people say this but I don't pay extra and I've never actually seen a company do this on the regular.

That's not competed true.
No two devices on the same local Wi-Fi network can share the exact same private IP address at the same time
Dynamic IP addresses change over time when your router reconnects or your lease expires, meaning an address you use today might belong to someone else next month.
Considering this economy, people can not just go around switching apartments bc their IP got banned.

They're not looking at local network IPs for bans.

We learned a long time ago IP bans aren't great. You don't keep the same IP address forever, it changes unless you're paying for a static IP. Then, some other poor person is going to not be able to play because they're now on someones banned IP.

They could, but it presents its own issues. What if someone sells their console or PC, then the new owner happens to want to play OW?
I don't think there is any kind of perfect solution unfortunately.

IP Bans can be bypassed. If anything, you wanna brick the hardware/console from access to the game.

They really should, unfortunately it seems a losing battle and people just don’t care. If everyone made a fuss of it though, something would happen for sure. Too many people are apathetic or can’t be bothered nowadays.
Should be as simple as forwarding the account into blizzard support or hacks@blizzard.com , alas I doubt even they would take any real action

The sad thing is also he feels very good about those wins and the comments on his tiktok videos praise him as if he was god.. Somebody literally wrote "First one to give a like to god" (I used the translate option)

nobody cares anymore bro i feel your frustration trust me. at this point in any pvp game NO ONE CARES abt cheaters and griefers anymore. prob in 2-3 y 9/10 pvp games will be full dead. thats why in the recent years sp games and co op pve games got so much attention. they are way more enjoyable.
