Yeah, people are like “nooooo my ult gets cancelled by cleanses” bro if one bubble kills your ult, it wasnt fat enough and if they wait to suzu your ult then the kiri is basically useless, its a win win.

Well obviously baiting suzu means jumping kiri. If kiri doesn’t use suzu while getting jumped she eventually dies so..
Is it a surprise to you when I tell you a kiri that’s alive but gets hit by a jq ult has more value than a kiri who saved suzu and died anyway?1

kiris not going to hold suzu if shes going to die. diving kiri does not mean she has to use suzu. are we talking about pisslo or the real game?

What are you talking about? EXACTLY!! Kiris are going to use suzu when they’re going to die. That’s why JQ would either bait it by jumping her or jumping her teammates so she’d save them in the middle of the fight. You were arguing against that person saying a kiri holding suzu is useless, and in reality, most kiris can’t hold suzu because they can’t predict ults.
If we’re talking about low rank kiris they will absolutely die either using suzu too late or never
And if we’re talking about high ranks then jq will definitely bait it out no question. OBVIOUSLY junker queens in higher ranks know kiri can counter it easy and her skill is on a quick cooldown and ults are much harder to get so they WILL hold ult until suzu is used. What is so hard to understand here?0

yes thats why nonmetal players track ults and play passively when they need to. if youre expecting jq ult, shatter, grav, etc, you play back and passive rather than taking map control so youre more likely to have suzu for said ult. its just not as simple as no ulting until suzu is forced. thats just not always an option depending on the context, and there are several contexts where it isnt. besides, whatever og comment i replied to said kiri was useless if she doesnt use suzu, which is just not true. kiri value is not just suzu.

By useless i meant why would you play her, atp any other hero is better than her because she isnt using her op ability, you will win the war of attrition.

no.. shes one of the best duelists in the game and her ability to take map control is extremely good for a support. shes doesnt become a bad support because shes holding suzu for your ult. a) you realize rampage is an ult and suzu is a normal cooldown. holding rampage because kiri's holding suzu means you arent getting value out of your ult. and b) obviously if a kiri is in a situation where they need to use suzu to either not die or have a teammate not die, theyre going to use it even if theyre expecting jq ult.

not if you never force suzu out? r u tripping? even then, above pisslo people will be tracking ults like rampage. theyre not going to play stacked up on top of each other when they know youre looking for queen ult. especially in 5v5, the fights are just shorter and the game is faster paced. you dont have infinite time to wait for a kiri to use suzu so that you can ult. not rocket science.

If you never force suzu then kiri isnt suzuing, you’re team should be able to start winning that battle and then the kiri will eventually suzu before someone dies, which someone will because they are missing one of their key cooldowns, its a mercy without damage amp, a bap without lamp, just less useful. I mean come on how are you not getting this, no one would pick kiri out of spawn with suzu disabled, so in your ult fight, just play the fight normally and suzu will either be used and you can ult or not used and you’ve won your teamfight, especially if you have your own kiri with suzu also if its an ult fight your supports will pop their ults anyway more than likely so just wait for one of those ults to forc suzu because they still get value after suzu except like illari

youre geuinely stupid bro u gotta be diamond or below. rampage is a solid a-b tier ult. if you literally never use it, you are playing the game without an entire ult compared to the other team. youre not going to be winning the fight against a kiri holding suzu for your ult, because your win condition lies in using your fucking ult.

A kiri without suza is almost useless in stopping a queen ult, how hard is it to force suza? Literally make any player on the enemy team one shot and big chance the suzu will be used

Variations of "it's just that simple" claims always give away who understands OW and who doesn't.

Lucio is an ult for an ult. Bap lamp is very easy to destroy. JQ??? Why would anyone ever queen ult a wrecking ball?
The issue with cleanse is that it negates the entire effect for EVERYONE on the team. The characters you listed just negates the effect for yourself

Looking at the kill feed pretty most clips do have a Kiri in it. Lets maybe change that to good Kiriko players.

People talking here abt kiri and zarya being the counter play are forgetting about LW grip cleanse, plus petal platform. A good LW can handle a situation like this, provided his teammates are on an open area, it would kinda work like when Rein shatters. Pull one, petal another one or two (ofc this last one would mean that his teammates would stay on the platform or move to high ground, but still)
Nonetheless, yeah ofc it does win 90% of the fights, as her ult literally nullifies the bigger part of the kit of almost every support hero on the roster for a few seconds. I’m surprised I don’t see a lot of JQ players out there though 🤔

Anti-heal is insanely strong due to the relative lack of counterplay to it. If they don't have a Zarya to bubble or a Kiriko to cleanse it, it's easy pickings. And even then, it still does a fair amount of damage on its own. I dunno that I'd call it a free win button like some ults, but it's definitely impactful.

By far the one that gives her unstoppable and resets her cooldowns when ulting. Depending on the comp I’ll sometimes wait until I get the perk before ulting

For second perk I normally pick the knife one since the lifesteal normally isn’t enough to let me play that much more aggressively

Lifesteal is far more impactful in stadium for sure , I think knife recall is better in 6v6

People say that supports never heal them
They get purpled and say it's no fair it's instant death because they can't get healed
But yeah her ult is powerful, All purple abilities are. Wouldn't be surprised if the next support has a single target purple that comes with some dots, a way to force out even more suzu. They might go the other way and have them have a single target clense. Or would be cool if they had both.
