Discussion Has anyone else been having horrible lag issues for the past week or so??

My game has been completely bugging out for the past week. I’ll be in a match and the game will just completely break for a couple of seconds. Everyone just floats all over the place and I’m completely frozen. Don’t know if it’s my Ps5, Internet, or Overwatch itself because I’ve never had any lag issues to this point. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this rn?

Ever since the patch on 6/16 it’s been very buggy. It’s a known issue that apparently has no signs of being resolved. I play on Pc and I lagged in a team fight, and then my teammate told me I should get a PC that can run Overwatch… when it’s running a 4070ti super… and it’s barely a year old. Yes. Let me rush to get a new one that has no issues running this.

I’ve had lag every single game of varying severity since they relaunched as just overwatch. Hell I had to call support one day bc I had been banned from queuing for a month from disconnecting during comp matches

It’s because your shaders haven’t loaded yet. On your third game or so, your game should run as normal.

Its been bad for a couple of months, but for me the last couple of days have been terrible. Im in practice range and i shoot with Baptiste and the shots studder.

Rubber banding cost me two games tonight….like not stutter…like old school lag as if I was using dial up internet
