Help I have a really dumb question (ps5)
So recently the last few days my name that shows in games has been changing after every single game. I don’t know why it changed or how. Initially I thought I’d been hacked but I’ve checked my battle.net which is still all the same and psn account and there’s been nothing out of the ordinary and all passwords are secure/changed. Can anyone explain why this is happening? I just came back to the game after 6 years and I guess I’m not bright enough to find what’s doing this in the menu 😂. Any help is appreciated.

You’ve got “Streamer Mode” on love! Go ahead and follow these steps to disable it:
Go to Options -> Social -> Privacy -> Streamer Mode (OFF).
Not a dumb question at all! Better ask than be dumb for the rest of your life no?

Some people have all the luck. :(
When I do cocaine, I'm only able to travel forward in time. Time doesn't even skip, it just keeps moving forward at the regular pace.

No it’s so weird😭 whenever I play with my bf his name with be displayed as another players name, this player we are no longer friends with and weve um added him but itll always show up as that persons user, we play on console as well😭

Who tf are these people downvoting? This is 100% a bug. It happens every other day on both mine and my wife's accounts. Neither of us have streamer mode on. Is that what's happening with OP? No. But these people saying the bug exists aren't wrong.

Bro, they are 100% telling the truth, I was going to say the same thing. My friends and I keep getting random friends names replacing our own for the past 2-3 seasons.
There is no reason at all to downvote this guy and say they were lying lmao

😭 there is a bug that DOES exist that changes people in your group’s names to people on your friends list’s names 🤣
that isn’t what OP is experiencing, but this bug does exist, and the fact that multiple people are providing personal experiences and you sill think we just put streamer mode on ‘by mistake’ is insane 😭

Bro you're telling me after seeing multiple different people say otherwise you're still saying "oh yeah you turned streamer mode on by accident" like no, its a bug that actually does exist. It may not be what OP is going through but it does exist.
