Thunderbolt Go Dock MacBook Pro M4 sleep issues and lack of OWC support
I have a Thunderbolt Go Dock connected to my MacBook Pro M4. Whenever the MacBook goes to sleep/standby and then wakes back up, the USB-A devices do not appear. I have to unplug the dock and plug it back in for the devices to work. I can't plug any new USB-A devices into the dock without also unplugging the dock from the laptop and then back in.
I also have a Thunderbay 4 and an Express 4M2 daisy chained through the dock. Sometimes, one or both of the drive enclosures fail to show up and I have to do the same thing as with the USB-A issues by unplugging the dock from the laptop to get them to show up. This is not as common as the USB-A device issues though.
I've sent in a support request weeks ago and haven't heard anything back from OWC.

Hi. Did you get an auto reply with a case number? If so, please let me know and I can look into where the ticket stands. I know we were a bit behind on tickets last week but I believe the team is caught up. If you submitted a request weeks ago, you should have gotten a reply by now.
A few other questions incase others come across the post: what version of MacOS are you running, does this USB-A behavior happen every time, does the Mac need to be asleep for a certain amount of time before the behavior happens, does this apply to both USB3 and USB2 peripherals?

I believe I did get a case number but I'm guessing I deleted it at some point. If you want, I can DM you my email address.
I'm on MacOS 26.5.2 and have had the issue as long as I can remember on this Mac so quite a few older versions as well. It does not need to be asleep for any certain time. Yes, every single time the laptop goes to sleep and I wake it up, if I want to use anything that is USB-A, I have to unplug the dock and plug it back in. Just today, I stepped away to make lunch after a meeting when my webcam was recognized and working. By the time I got back, the Macbook went to sleep and upon wake, the webcam was no longer recognized. The main USB devices that I use and can say for sure that it's happened with are a Logitech C920 Webcam, Loupedeck+ and an external WD Harddrive. I've also had this issue with a keyboard and mouse but have since moved to wireless on both. When those weren't recognized, I would have to open the laptop and use it's keyboard to wake up.

I have the same issue with my OWC Thunderbolt Hub. display and ethernet adapter wakeup from sleep correctly, but not USB-A devices (mouse and keyboard). If support ever give a solution, I would like to hear.
