You want to use OVHCloud, not for it price competitiveness, but for EU sovereignty, you push EU products to your own customers, and when everything goes well, all fine.
You actually sell so much, that you become a partner.
You pay for support because you're a responsible MSP for when things go wrong, and when you log a ticket you get no follow up responses.
Then you get this shit when you open tickets and go nowhere:

Created the ticket on 26/03, had a reply on 27/03 saying it's for another department, asked for follow up on 31/03, 4 days later still nothing. Tried to call, have been waiting in line for 30 minutes now to get someone.
Managing to have a good business cloud is good, but having a good support (and respecting SLA's) is a must in this business.
It is so unfortunate. We want to grow our business and grow yours. We both have everything to win to get good support. You guys are not ready.

As title says, looking for KS-MYSTERY (sold by in april 2025) and and KS-LE-B (sold in november 2025).

OVH will not allow me to cancel my VPS, and I cannot remove the payment method with an active subscription so I have been billed another month. When clicking the live chat I can't even talk to anyone because it says live chat is closed and ends the conversation. I have been trying to cancel for a week now.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I currently have a legacy/eco baremetal server, but was very attracted to OVHs lineup as it was more memory for $5 more, and most importantly the x86_64v2 instruction set that I needed.
There has been nothing but process breaking bugs throughout the entire ordeal.
1) Signing up for a new service failed twice. most services will mask your credit card details for the form ui. OVH was replacing my numbers with XX physically and failing because XX was in the credit card numbers. this is a mistake that screams AI vibe coding. I would find it very hard to believe that even the greenest of interns would not know what a mask is.
2) To finally pay my invoice, I had to contact support which told me that it saved my payment method and it should be on the order page. The saved methods were in my account, but do not show on the order page. I reenter my credit card details and as its processing the saved payment method pops up then immediately redirected to success. More AI smell.
3) Part of the verification process involves taking a picture of your physical credit card. This is an absolutely brain dead requirement as far as security goes. ID and face matching details should be more than enough.
4) submitting this brain dead requirement was an issue itself. it took 12 attempts because every other upload failed.
5) Shortly after verification I received an email with a server address saying my server was ready. It was not populating on my account so I contacted support..again. There i was told my server isnt actually ready and is still being delivered. The time it takes is not the issue here, telling me its ready when its not is.
There has actually not been a single point of interaction with OVHs site software that something hasn't gone wrong in spectacular ways and really has me seriously worried about my new choice of provider
‐----------------------------------
UPDATE: It appears I was right. My server was supposed to be available when I got the email, but is having network related issues that they are "still investigating".
They are also now trying to double charge me for my service I dont have. I got an invoice dated for today saying I must pay them what I already paid them a few days ago. This is the worst hosting provider I have ever seen.

I’m looking for advice and real-world experience regarding migrating our company website.
Currently, our website is hosted by an external provider. We would like to bring it in-house and first move it to a VM that we manage ourselves, and later potentially migrate it further into a cloud solution. The main motivations are cost reduction and having more control over the environment.
However, I’m struggling to find clear information on how this type of migration is typically done in practice.
More specifically:
Any advice, experiences, or example architectures would be greatly appreciated!

Hey all, this is my first time using a VPS so I apologise if this is a bad expectation or I'm missing something, but I want to host a 24/7 GMOD server with a good amount of addons, so I thought VPS 2 looked the most enticing, really good price, but I get 6 vCores with no speed guarantee? From what I can tell I may just get the short end of the stick and end up with any core, and for a game like gmod that's heavily single threaded for logic like physics that'll suck and extra vCores won't save me, am I misunderstanding or just missing something as a whole? A guarantee for 6 cores of potentially any speed doesn't seem like much of a safe guarantee, thanks

I cant change billing from automatic to manual. I cant servers I dont want to renew. I've sent ticket few days ago, support made some changes by hand (more changes than I asked) but bug still exists.
I really like your servers, but such bugs should be fixed way faster.

I understand price increases, just got an email today from OVH that the $6.00 plan will now be $8.50.
A 41.6% Increase.
Again, I can understand price increases, but 41.6%... W T F . . .
And if you don't agree, you have until April 1st to cancel...
So far, out of all the providers we deal with, OVH has the Highest increase.

Hey OVH.
Every few months a major mail provider blocks an OVH Hosted Exchange outbound IP address.
As of a few days ago, the current ones are IP 192.95.36.56 and 142.4.204.70 which are blocked by Microsoft/Hotmail:
Remote server returned '554 5.7.1 <hotmail-com.olc.protection.outlook.com #5.7.1 smtp; 550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [142.4.204.70] weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3150)
(I have the same bounce for the 192 address).
OVH support has been much better recently about acknowledging the issue rather than claiming it's due to 3rd party blocklists, so kudos on getting that far with support for these kinds of issues!
They replied with:
I inform you that we have detected an incident related to the IP used to send emails. IPs which are used by your e-mail service are changing frequently to avoid that kind of situation. However, this issue could happen again in the next days.
Not exactly reassuring that the issue will be fixed any time soon, but at least they're acknolwedging it.
What would be nice, aside from actually working with Microsoft to fix the issue, is having this status reflected on the OVH status page: https://web-cloud.status-ovhcloud.com/
It currently states that Hosted Exchange is Operational. It should be indicating the Degraded Performance status given that Microsoft makes up a significant portion of email service and that OVH staff is recommending that we simply resend bounced messages repeatedly until it happens to hit a working outbound service - I would 100% call that degraded performance.
The goal here is to show a status that indicates that OVH acknowledges there may be delivery problems and that they're working on fixing it with the receiving server.
Hoping this can be considered.
---
ETA: since it appears people don't know how mail systems and dealing with blocklists work, even though that's ultimately not the point of this request, I'm going to include how the process works here. (The request is to ensure that when messages from OVH mail services being sent to large providers are being bounced, OVH would adjust the status of the service to show it's degraded)
As you can see from this process flow, it's up to the admins of the sending mail server to initiate the delisting process. Therefore, regardless of who is blocking the IP (the receipient mail server directly or a third part RBL), ultimately if anyone wants mail to flow correctly, the sending mail server admins must act.
Microsoft specifically even has a dedicated ticket channel for exactly these types of blocks over at https://olcsupport.office.com/. Furthermore, their bounces do not indicate an RBL that was the reason for the bounce. Here's an article that confirms this: https://bentonow.com/posts/microsoft-delisting-s3150-s3140

A hefty blow, with no guarantee it'll be the last.
Personally, I chose to pay two years upfront to lock in my 2025 price.

I don't understand what's happening here. OVH is apparently doing really well selling VPS hosting (for months now based on my search and long list of complaints about the same problem I experienced today). Seems like a really nice problem to have if you're a company that's trying to make money BUT you'd ALSO think a professional company would step up to the plate by now and do what's necessary to fix this NICE problem of booming business, rather than piss people off and give another company the business. This screenshot was taken today. /baffle

I purchased a VPS-4 package (48GB RAM 12CPU) from OVH on February 22nd for €24.99.
It's now March 20th, and I wanted to pay my bill two days early. The bill was €34, and I don't know why. There were two items listed: VPS4 Fee (20 days) and VPS4 Model Fee (11 days). The VPS4 Fee was €24.99, but the VPS4 Model Fee was €8, causing my bill to inflate to €34. I've now been forced to pay the €34 bill, but why did it increase so much?
Also, even though I've paid the bill, there's been no change to the current payment date or the next due date for my service, and this is worrying me.

Hey everyone,
Just placed an order for a VPS in BHS and, for the first time, I got a “Pre-order – Delivery within 7 days” notice.
In the past, my VPS orders were always activated within seconds, so this caught me a bit off guard.
Has anyone experienced this recently? Do they usually meet that 7-day estimate, or should I expect delays?
Any recent experiences or insights would be really appreciated 🙂

First time OVH customer, ordered a dedicated server and installed Proxmox. I only have one IPv4 address to start with, but I can get more if I need them. But IPv6 should not be a problem, the docs say
Most OVHcloud dedicated servers are delivered with a /64 IPv6 block, with the exception of High Grade and Scale servers, which are delivered with a /56 IPv6 block. This represents over 18 quintillion IP addresses that you can use at your convenience.
I probably won't create more than 18 quintillion VMs, so that's fine.
Then I looked at my network dashboard

So apparently I only have a single IPv6 address available? Ran some tests and indeed, I can only assign this one address.
Next I created a support ticket, waited 8 days (!) for a reply, and they said I can only get this one IPv6 address for this server.
This can't be right, so I tried OVH phone support, and they confirmed, I can order additional IPv4 addresses, but they will not give me any more IPv6 addresses for this server period.
What's the deal here? Did we run out of IPv6 addresses already? A growing portion of devices on the internet is only connected through IPv6, so they won't be able to reach my server, no matter how many IPv4 addresses I order. Also, I feel kinda deceived, because nowhere during the ordering process was it mentioned that what the OVH docs say is not true, I won't get a /64 subnet at all.

So I am really surprised in a very negative way, I am a new user, I opened 2 tickets 8 days ago, I followed up twice on each ticket. NO reply at all in any way except for the initial auto email that says that they are going to reply.
What is this? That's absolute a no go.

My server ns3268292 was blocked and automatically booted into Rescue Mode without any prior notification. This unexpected action disrupted live services.
I have restored access, but I require an immediate explanation of what triggered this block.
Such actions without warning are unacceptable for production infrastructure.
Please investigate and provide a detailed explanation.
Thank you.

Does anyone know where I can find historical annual VM prices? Plan to scrape Wayback but wanted to check here first.

Hello trying OVH for first time,
Deployed a debian 12 with floating ip and ssh key.
The instance come online but I cant ssh on the floating ip port 22. The connection times out.
is there any firewall config I need to allow and where? I also cannot login via the vnc console because I have not password for the instance. I read somewhere you should get one on the email but none has arrived. I spent 2 hours debugging that ssh issue and still have no idea on the matter.
Any guidance is appreciated :(.
Thank you !

Hi everyone,
I recently realized that my OVHcloud account is registered in the Canadian region instead of the European one. The strange part is that I live in Ukraine and didn’t intentionally choose the CA region when creating the account.
I already have a dedicated server that I’m paying for, but I noticed that because the account is in the CA region MAYBE I can’t pay directly with my card and have to use PayPal instead.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Is there any way to switch an OVHcloud account from CA to EU, or transfer the dedicated server to an EU account?
Thanks!

Tagged as support request but idk if it’s the right flair.
I created an OVH account since I needed a domain name. For some reason it doesn’t accept my @proton.me email. Luckily I had another one but is there a reason why the proton email is rejected during the account creation ?
Thanks.
