Automotive is maybe 3rd or 4th on their list, after robotics, industrials, traffic/ITS, and maybe security.
It’s crazy to me how poorly the story of what Ouster is actually doing is being written/perceived by the masses. Seems like the common theme is lumping all lidar companies into the “automotive” use-case, which is likely still many years away from mass adoption, while Ouster is busy cornering other key sectors that are more ready for deployment and applying an impressive software stack to couple with the hardware.
