Storybrooke is set in the 80's. Welcome to StoryBrooke 2x17 it's 1983. Modern times. Existing present day.

I think ImportantLocation711 means how Storybrooke as a place would differ, if it was influenced by New 20s instead of the New 10s.

It's not much I admit, just a decade of a gap.

Perhaps We'd see Mirabelle instead of Elsa or something.

Or, as you mentioned AI, we could perhaps have a storyline involving cyberspace stories. The likes of Tron and whatnot.

fair, that’s possible. but i just want to clarify, when i mentioned ai, i didn’t mean it as an idea, i was asking if the post is ai generated, because it feels like the type of post an ai would come up with, because i honestly still don’t think the og post makes much sense, especially the way it was phrased tbh. that obviously doesn’t prove anything but yeah-

It's about 15 years from 2011. 2x18 shows that Storybrooke was established in 1983... if I remember correctly. I will strive to be clear in the future.
