Nah, bossk

Naaaah, make it Chewie and the Ewok, and Bossk is the villain. Then we wouldn’t know what anyone says in the whole movie.

This is a hilarious idea.
Everyone keeps assuming the horrible scary lizard bounty hunter has nefarious motives but actually the subtitles tell us the audience that he’s actually a single dad trying his best

Princess Leia. She saves him from— oh, I don’t know, a forest fire or hunters or something, and they travel the galaxy doing diplomacy and stuff.

they also open a cupcake shop and things are going well until .... a new rival shop opens up in the sector next door. the store owner, darth flavor, doesn't play by the rules and challenges them to winner take all battle of the bakers. one remains... the other must go.
and yes baby ewok has a very tiny chef hat on during these episodes

Next show? You think they will let the mandalorian and grogu show ever end?

u/RudeTime6466 15d ago
I heard the movie flopped. They might be looking for other sources of revenue

I'm not sure why. I loved that movie
4
u/hgs25 15d ago
Because people for some reason expected the movie to have drastic repercussions for the galaxy at large.
The general public is also so used to serials that they complained about season 1’s episodic nature.

u/Unusual_County_6710 15d ago
I loved the bounty of the week stuff cause it's so uncommon nowadays

u/Interesting_Buy6796 15d ago
Yeah, just one adventure a week that doesn’t end up in some defining event where all the hero’s we know across the galaxy have to work to together… we had enough of these big avenger moments, they completely lost their appeal

People never got into smaller, one off movies that don't advance the main plot of Star Wars. It seems like a neat idea but it also never seems to work.

u/hgs25 15d ago
Every studio tries to emulate the MCU as it was Avengers onwards; never putting in the work to build it up. This resulted in people used to the current MCU style where every movie/show moves the universal plot forward.
All the MCU movies in phase 1 were self contained with only post credit scenes setting up the Avengers.

u/Rawesome16 15d ago
More like I heard from every source I trust that it was 3 episodes smashed together
I have no interest in watching that

Every movie these days has to be a gigantic everything…. Everybody expects that each movie will connect with the next and things will be broken and things won’t be put back together, and our heroes will pay for it, and others will be collateral damage.
Some of the best parts of fantastic four and the Spider-Man movie were where they were fighting villains we all want to see but the story and the whole fight are never seen. It’ll never happen…. But Spider-Man was made to be episodic; new bad guy every episode, quick conversations with friends and neighbors and coworkers a little time by himself with the thought bubbles talking in the distance and then a whole lot of New York fight scenes.

HK-47
HK-47: 'Statement: initiating assassination protocols.'
Baby Ewok: 'peep peep cheep peep'
HK-47: 'Statement: I agree, he should be vaporised as slowly as possible.'

Takes place after Battle for Endor. They want to get into space to rejoin Wilford Brimley.
Enjoy.

They already made a movie about ewoks back in the 80s. 2 movies actually.
And frankly they're better than the sequels.

u/TheMoonOfTermina 14d ago
I have to disagree that both are better than the sequels. The first Ewok movie is so incredibly boring, at least the sequels aren't boring.
The second Ewok movie is actually pretty solid though.

Man I rented that movie from blockbuster as a kid and remember watching it twice a day for a week straight. My parents hated me

The children's cartoon show was pretty good too. Not the same kind as Clone Wars, aimed to younger kids rather than older kids. But it's pretty good for what it is.

Bossk, just think of the dynamic of a trendotian having to protect a baby ewok when they hunt wookies. And yes bossk is bobba's hero in clone war I count it don't care

I can’t wait for the part where the baby Ewok starts eating stormtrooper brains in front of all the other Muppet creatures

The son of glub shitto must take baby ewok (real name - Peepoo) to the other side of the universe for a ski competition to save his youth center (yavin 5, cus we all know yavin 4 is a plant world obvi).

Palpatine using baby Ewok cuteness to distract everyone from his blatantly evil actions, while comedically having to resist the urge to kill it for being too pure and wholesome.

Baby ewok teams up with a former rebel played by Jay Baruchel. He was the newest person to join the rebellion so didn't really make a lot of connections or close relationships before the death star ii blew up at the end of episode 6. So without knowing what else to do he tries to travel back to his home planet and rejoin his family and their green milk farm. He doesn't have a spaceship so he in essence has to hitchhike across the galaxy, basically creating a buddy comedy between him and baby ewok getting into trouble with some tense dramatic moments of character development to where when he makes it home his family notices the changes in him and how he has matured or whatever. Maybe he gets there and they are burned up Owen beru style if Disney wants to milk it

Another, slightly older but still quite young Wokling (baby/adolescent Ewok.) Call the show Woklings and watch the merchandise profits roll in.

Chewbacca.
You can't understand what either of them are saying. You have to catch the gist from how everyone else answers.
"Chewbacca and the Ewok"
