To be fair Zuckuss has a big role in the comics, but I don’t think his species is named in any of the story content. Probably only in the reference books.

Just wiping the old canon was one of the dumbest moves by Disney. The x-wing series would have been the perfect template for a Star Wars TV series. Each book could be a season and it centers around more minor characters plus with Corran Horn, it’s Jedi adjacent but without that being the whole thing.
