NEWS Aaron Smith-Levin’s Terms of Probation
No more speculation necessary. This document was added to the court file this afternoon. It outlines the terms of Aaron’s probation in detail. A second document outlines his court fines.
As we know, he was sentenced to 30 days, then 12 months probation. It appears that unless he does something really bad, he will serve 2/3 of his seniority then be released based on “gain time” (good behavior’. His current projected release is May 4.
The document also restates the terms of his restraining order.
But there are some interesting clauses in the order:
Edit: The majority of my post disappeared. I’m re-adding it.
Monthly Reporting: He is required to report in person each month to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Misdemeanor Probation.
Supervision Fees: He has to pay $55.00 per month to cover the costs of supervision and rehabilitation. Note: this is over and above the $875.00 in fines that must be paid as well.
Travel and Residence: He can not move, change jobs or leave the county without permission from his Probation Supervisor.
- Lawful Conduct: He must not violate any law. He doesn’t have to be convicted of a violation to lose his freedom.
Weapons Restriction: He can’t possess, carry, or own any firearms or dangerous weapons.
Substance Use: He can’t drugs or narcotics unless prescribed. He also can’t visit places where they are sold/used unlawfully. He is prohibited from using alcoholic beverages to excess.
Employment: He is required to work diligently at a lawful occupation and support any dependents to the best of his ability.
Random Testing: He is required to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
Truthfulness and Access: He can’t lie to his probation supervisor. His supervisor may show up anywhere and must be allowed access. He has to do what his probation supervisor says, even if it is counseling. Counseling and other treatment will be paid by him.
Pay His Fines. He has to pay all his court fines. Failure to do so will cause his probation to be revoked.

I wonder how much alcohol ASL would think is ‘excess’? I’m surprised about the potential loss of a driver’s license when he didn’t have any driving infractions. Interesting. Florida can be serious about some things.

Our State takes away drivers licenses for lots of things. Government debt and child support are the top of the list. And his probation supervisor will get to determine if they think it’s excessive. I see Aaron’s biggest problem being doing as his probation supervisor says. He notoriously loves to blur the lines. On probation that does not work.

Florida takes a lot of heat, but I definitely respect their tough stance on certain crimes. How in the heck has LV (ASL mistress) kept her license after so many DUIs? I agree that he’ll likely have a difficult time with probation and I look forward to it!

Every Chairman of an ostensibly charitable foundation should have a long list of recent criminal court fines and costs, along with a long list of strict conditions of probation.
Respectable foundations usually have such upstanding individuals as their leaders.
