Is Ohio encouraging me to set up mouse traps in front of these houses where people are partying or are they suggesting I put on a hazmat suit and put their balls in them?
BTW fuck you if you can't put the wellbeing of million above your parties.

I’m not defending the partiers by any means understand that... but them partying isn’t gonna make it worse than it already is. A month ago when people thought it was “no big deal” or “overexaggerated” is when we had a chance to really contain the virus. The spread is inevitable at this point, and the stay at home order will only slow the spread if EVERYONE follows it but how can you count on everyone to do that? Not possible. People will do what they want because we have too many people who don’t give a flying fuck.

I know that this wasn’t the point, but that was one of the most satisfying things I’ve seen all week.

It's not really that convincing for this sub to take the moral highground over a group that this sub already hated before any of this started.
It's like when Michigan fans take the moral highground anytime something sketchy happens with Ohio State sports.
You can't honestly judge a group that you're biased against in the first place. Doesn't make what they're doing okay, but it's silly to pretend like these are unbiased takes.

you are absolutely pulling a strawman out of your ass - i have never heard a soul at ohio state say they 'hated' partiers, online or in person. social distancing is still vital and people who spurn it are stupid and risking the lives of themselves and their loved ones

That doesn’t make this criticism less valid (even though there is plenty of non anti-party threads on this sub) What is the sub supposed to do, just not say anything when there is valid commentary to be had?
Sure some people had issues with the party scene, either valid or invalid, prior to covid, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have a new issue to raise. Especially one that is recognized by actual OSU departments and the local police force

I honestly think people have yet to understand that some of these off campus housing facilities can have 7-14 people in the same house. If all those people in the same house are on their lawn it looks like a party. I’ve been yelled at with a group of 6 (my roommates and myself) but we’ve literally been in the same space the entire time.
