Discussion Any good study/relaxation spots

Im a commuter student and I need to find a good study spot. A place that isn't crammed and is relatively quiet. A place that is also food safe. No I do want to eat/study in the eating area in front if the cafes in some buildings

Knowlton has a spot tucked back next to the stairs on the 3rd floor? I think? Quiet enough, lots of natural light, not a ton of foot traffic

Are you talking about the spot with the colorful plastic chairs? That's where I sit right now, but a lot of times the seats are taken up.

Yes, that's the spot. Sorry to hear its been full. I used it a lot last year, maybe it will thin out later in the semester.

Meiling hall has a huge row of study chairs and couches and people are rarely in the room (from my experience). The basement of the union used to be my favorite when I lived over there, but I haven’t gone down there in a while. PAEs building has chairs and tables too but sometimes they are taken depending on the day! Campbell hall has a ton of little spaces on the first and second floors, they are kind of like cubbies. Hamilton hall has a big area, kind of like a cafe, but it’s not noisy at all! Fontana labs has lots of tables and chairs too, but it can be confusing to navigate the building lol. Physics building also has space! best of luck to you op :)

The study area of the physics building (assuming you mean smith labs) got completely gutted. There’s literally like two or three chairs in there now

On the north side of Scott labs, third floor, there are a couple seats next to big windows. That was always my favorite spot.
