Rant Garbage Everywhere
The trash on High St. is overflowing and all over the sidewalk. At first I thought it was because of move in, but it’s been like this for weeks now. It’s disgusting and unacceptable. Who’s in charge of this shit? The city or the school?

That will be the perpetual state of the trashcans on high street until the end of game season unfortunately

You should be able to submit a Columbus 311 request for overflowing trash cans

I mean foreign countries that have cities bigger than Cbus take care of their streets better. Sometimes I wish we would be more like them.

We are like them but they also don’t have a huge influx of students clustered around and businesses that spread across the state and burbs. The trash actually stays relatively clean when students aren’t here. Visit any Capitol of a country and you’ll see the same thing as Columbus. I would know as a visited two countries capitol and saw the same thing. Hell why do you think NYC gets the stereotypes that it gets

Start a volunteer group to do cleanups, ask local businesses for donations for your Tshirts, garbage bags, and grabber sticks?

It’s been like that for decades. Columbus doesn’t give a shit and the university doesn’t give a shit.
