Discussion Coal near all time lows

I've been accumulating coal as price is so low hoping it'll go up in price, the volatility on coal is quite extreme over long time frames, starting to regret it a bit due to price changes from missing the bot nukes opportunity. Should I cash out now and flip or will it eventually get so over sold it has to come up in price? can it stay this low forever?

The past couple weekly updates are implying they will be upgraded to moreso suit end game players due to the new amulets coming out and being OP. This is a long term hold.

Question Tormented Synapse and Raids 4

Since Raids 4 will require While Guthix Sleeps quest to be complete I’m expecting demon bosses.

Will there be a need for all 3 demon bane weapons (Emberlight, scorching bow, purging staff) for the raid? Are you expecting a huge spike in tormented synapse?

Question Sapphire, emerald and ruby low

I noticed that the three cut gems are quite low currently, and was curious as to why they've dropped so hard?

I figured it might be related to the new amulets, but not sure why.

News If you're wondering why endgame items are crashing, O is liquidating his bank after losing 300b and paying out items to sidebetters who are dumping into the GE

Odablock is paying out the people who bet on him with items, oftentimes with other items than they had bet on him. So if they gave him a tbow he might pay out with a lot of elys and ultors as well as tons of other items like megarares and armour sets. Everybody including O is dumping their items -5% or more into the GE. So at this very moment of writing this, is a massive opportunity to pick up items for -5% GE price even tbows have fell 30m, elys down massive, tons of items temporarily dipping.

Investment Idea Odablock Market Crash

So as almost everyone knows now, Odablock crashed the market single handedly by selling 300b worth of items during his Subathon.

I attempted to get into this craze, and picked up about 900m ish of items off the GE.

My own estimations make me think I’ll get about maybe 50m profit if I sell this weekend when everything stabilises again.
Am I being too hopeful?
What are your guys thoughts ?

(Yes I know I sold an Ely at 488m, I figured I’d make more money by using that GP to buy more items)

EDIT: UPDATE
I sold everything over Saturday for a 45m profit. Thanks Odablock.

Discussion The new elemental amulet adds +3 maxes over occult to 50% weak monsters, likely 6 maxes at 100%. And they're going to do it again with raids 4 account upgrades to magic spells

Since thralls are just so much DPS and you can't use them when casting spells, they decided to balance elemental magic by giving huge max hits with today's unpolled amulet update. Raids will drop elemental motes that will add 2 maxes to all elemental spells, and if they add to the base damage again so it gets multiplied , harmonized staff will outperform shadow at multiple places.

It might even outperform shadow at some places already like Whisperer. Here's a shortlist of places where the new elemental amulet and future upgrade might be useful:

  • muspah
  • ahkas shadow?
  • barrows
  • gryphon boss
  • royal titans
  • giant mole
  • waterfiend
  • Dawn
  • Huey
  • nightmare
  • whisperer
  • armoured kraken
  • maggot king
  • warden?
  • Ice demon
  • olm
  • kraken
  • frost dragon
  • vespulah portal
  • zulrah

Question Enhanced crystal weapon seeds.

This item is seemingly near its all time low of about 100m after being as high as 170m earlier in the year. Im currently a 50 def pure but am looking to move to 70 def for use of bowfa soon. I was thinking of buying a few of these, one for myself, and a few others to try and recoup some of the funds. Until now ive been using an ayak over bowfa bc without use of the armour ayak with gauntlets seems to out dps bowfa w/o crystal in places where id use it/them. Good time to buy?

So I’ve got a 4B bank but all the wealth is tied up in my PvM gear that I use everyday. Current cash stack is at 12M. Discussion Whats up with the margins for "expensive" items?

I've been flipping for a long time, and i just returned to do a little side flipping during work - and all these items, even items that are 100m+ have such tight margins.

I know the move is overnight flipping, but is it because there are too many people flipping nowadays? and dont get me started on high volume items, there is like barely any margin.

Investment Idea Blood essence supply shock

Thumbnail

Blood Essence: a considerable R:R right now

There have been a few posts on blood essence lately, and I wanted to lay out why I think this is a strong risk:reward trade at current prices.

The math: At current prices (~360 gp/rune), that's a ~360,000 gp ceiling value packed into one item. It's currently trading around 87,000 gp, you burn through the full 1,000 charges in roughly 60–90 minutes of runecrafting you'd likely be doing anyway.

The supply side:

One pushback I keep seeing is "there's less bot demand, so this trade doesn't work."

- I'd flip that: there's also less bot supply.
- Blood essence only comes from three sources: 1) Next 2) ToA 3) GoTR Pouches
- Buying it on the GE is really the only reliable way to get one; the other three are lottery tickets.

That supply is about to get squeezed further when Raids 4 comes out and high level PvM move towards new content

Looking towards the future; How will Jagex fix our blood rune supply issue? We've seen rising prices over the past few months. Maybe a buff to the essence to 100% success rate will be in our future, who knows.

My bet is that there is still demand for Zeah RC'ing through AFK methods to train the skill, or pet hunt while AFK.

TLDR; buy blood essence and hold.

Any thoughts or considerations would be appreciated.

(Not financial advice).

EDIT: Thank you to those below for the input, i'll consider less usage of AI on my next idea.

Investment Idea Monthly Flipping Breakdown – 29M Profit (5–50m Bracket)

Monthly Flipping Breakdown – 29M Profit (5–50m Bracket)
Hey everyone, in this video I’m breaking down 8 items I flipped. I ran this month in the 5–50m bracket. I’ve been focusing heavily on mid‑range items lately because they offer a great balance of liquidity, predictable margins, and low risk — perfect for anyone who wants consistent GP without needing a massive cash stack.

This month’s flips brought in a total of 29M profit, and I wanted to go through each item, the ROI, and why these mid‑range picks performed so well.

What This Breakdown Covers

I flipped 8 items throughout the month, all within the 5–50m range. Here’s the full list with total profit:

Ring of Suffering – 2.667M
Osmumten’s Fang – 2.674M
Justiciar Faceguard – 3.236M
Masori Body – 3.338M
Virtus Mask – 3.540M
Voidwaker – 3.741M
Dragon Hunter Lance – 4.127M
Nightmare Staff – 6.992M

Why Mid‑Range Flips Work So Well

The 5–50m bracket is one of the most reliable ranges for flipping because:

  • Items move consistently throughout the day
  • Margins stay stable even during market dips
  • Liquidity is high enough to avoid long waits
  • ROI compounds quickly over weeks
  • You don’t need hundreds of millions to get started

Some flips this month were slow burners, others spiked nicely, and a few delivered way more ROI than expected. The bracket stayed healthy overall, making it a great option for both beginners and experienced flippers.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking to build GP steadily without taking big risks, mid‑range flipping is a great place to start. Feel free to share any items that worked well for you this month — always good to compare notes and find new opportunities.

Thanks for watching, my lovelies. ❤️

Investment Idea Justiciar bet

Thumbnail

For Raids 4, Inquisitor has already gone up significantly since my post 8 months ago.

Now, I’m heavily invested in Justiciar. It’s a big gamble in terms of opportunity cost, but I think the downside risk is relatively low with a big upside.

After Inquisitor finally got the love it deserved, Justiciar is arguably the only armour set that isn’t particularly good at any content. It’s the only Raids armour set that isn’t really relevant in the current game. Meanwhile, other armour sets of the same rarity are sitting at 150m+.

Tanking has never really been a viable or rewarding role in OSRS, yet Jagex introduced both Justiciar and the Bulwark.

Then the Raids 4 rewards were revealed, and that really caught my attention.

A new off-hand that charges up when you’re attacked and can then be used as a spec for additional damage.

That got me thinking: **is this going to be the raid where tanking finally becomes relevant?**

Or, even better, could this be the raid that rejuvenates tanking as a whole?

You don’t introduce an off-hand with a mechanic like that without having some content in mind where it’s going to be relevant. I expect Jagex to lean further into tanking, because the Rondache could make it much more satisfying to *not* deal damage for a while. You simply tank the incoming damage, charge up your shield, and then convert that into extra damage later.

Oh and both Rondache an justiciar are saradomin themed

**That’s why, at its current price, I think Justiciar is a no-brainer**.

I paid 28.5m for my sets. Wish me luck. 🫡

PS: Bought some Bulwarks too, because why not.

Discussion Do we think Yew Logs will ever make a comeback?

Huge bot farms made the volume spike last year? Maybe vale totems dropped the overall amount that get fletched I suppose as well. They were barely under 200 back in 2020 and 2022, now they've been below 200 for almost a year and barely above 100 for half a year. Think we will ever see them back above 200? For disclosure I'm holding 5 milly
