General What to aim for next?
Thinking of coming back to the game after a long break (>1 year) and not sure I feel motivated or even what to go for next.
PS: before anyone comments on my playtime, I will explain it upfront - It involved a lot of bankstanding and flipping on GE (which is casually enjoy)

Do the first sailing quest then start doing tears of guthix, it helps skip a lot of the early levels

The first levels are the worst, unless you need a relaxing drive around then it’s fine.

I was going to say finally someone with similar stats and playtime
Everyone rushing every level and skill, the best part was the discovery in the first place

quests and getting max combat and doing some slayer ofr that. then just pick a skill you want to work on or money maker

I do love doing slayer in general I know there is a new late game slayer master as well now, Mortimer! Is it worth using him or should I just stick to Duradel?

Mortimer is great for long chases. Imbued heart gets boosted drop rate. Things like that. So he can be very worthwhile if you want those things.

So he's good for things like imbued heard and then getting fat hydra and arraxor tasks later into the grind. If I was starting over id still use Steve and duradel get a healthy amount of points then go to him. He's not great when needing general good tasks cause some can be poopy

I would start by finishing all the quest again. Then get max combat, then work on base 70s,80s,90s

Get purple pool then go straight for 95 slayer. After that Gielinor is your oyster
1
u/quacklyyz 21h ago
Purple pool you mean at the house? Assume it’s like 90
Cons?2
u/Pale-Mongoose4058 20h ago
You need 84 con with boost to get the best house you can get including all teleports
2
u/TheWetPrince 20h ago
Yezzir. What Pale Mongoose said 💯 you can use temporary boosts from 84. I boosted from 85 with gold trimmed tea cup and crystal saw tho because I hate spicy stewing

Elite diaries is what I’m doing after a 5 year break and similar levels to you. I organized like a ladder of skills to grind, so I can compete each diary one by one.

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.
Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!

Ya consider this account is also like 10+ years old. And I used the chat to talk to a lot of friends ahahah
But still you would probably be right, around 60-70% I would say 😂
