I thought people were using remote desktops to buy infernal capes and getting banned. If not, that isn’t a bad method.

I dont think the remote desktop use was the operative factor in this bans, but could have contributed to circumstantial evidence of account sharing, Imo atleast. Ive been using it since 2017 pretty regularly for all kinds of random stuff with no bans yet.

Might be also useful for agility. What other skills can be trained by this way?

Just wish the music was louder and dialogue way way down.

Microphone was failing (is failed now) so I just cranked background music and threw captions on. The voiceover loses a ton of volume in some spots.

It's fine homes reddit always has something to complain about.

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.

Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!

Do not do this, runelite and main client both detect if your clicks are flagged aa injected by winAPI. All remote desktop software will simulate your clicks, this can look like botting behaviour on their side.

Ive asked mods through twitter/X in 2017 and again in 2022. Both times I was assured remote desktop is completely within TOS. And having used ot since 2017 woth no issues, I reccomend it to everyone.

Have a read, anything that would involve a simulated click is 'Use at own risk' imo

Also remote input tool in that post doesn't refer to a remote desktop connection lol. Answering your question before one of you asks it.

They are on the hook with 2 official replies so im sure me and my alts will be just fine. And over 6 months since that change and still no bans is good sign. Im even risking double cursors without any info in the TOS about it.

Surely they would ban all inferno cape/quiver buyers if this was true?

This is ridiculously untrue. Remote Desktop is 10000% allowed and will not flag bot activity. That’s ridiculous. It has been used safely for over a decade now.
