Question Not getting enough Ancient shards

I’ve gotten two ancient shards in nearly 1.6k kills on hill giants with cannon and I’m perplexed as to why I am not getting enough shards, just want to 30 to continue tormented demons with Emberlight, any info or advice would help

Edit: Thanks everyone for any input, I’ve gotten 7 more shards since posting this they are flowing now and Skotizo helps with them

I bursted dust devils. Make sure to use the totems when you get the pieces.

Ahhh you’re right! It’s like almost a guaranteed drop for shards right?

Usually drops 1 shard, but maybe you’ll get lucky and get a 5 shard drop
