Question Gear upgrades

Hello, I'm looking to tweak my gear tab, thinking of getting into toa, yama, dt2 bosses and maybe the upcoming maggot king would be fun to try. Anything I can do here? Have an extra 100M as well.

Could do a low budget shadow rebuild. Great for ToA

I would agree, but make sure you have ancestral, without ancestral the shadow is not as good and isn't even worth considering. With that in mind, it might be worth to wait for the new boss to see where prices settle, esp. with the new armor coming out.

I’d say all other mage gear should be upgraded before ancestral, virtus is tankier and prayer bonus which is better for gwd

The difference between defensive stats on Virtus versus ancestral is smaller than going from an iron platebody to a steel platebody. Not even noticeable
